Yo SAME! I really can’t be bothered grinding for weapons with extremely short expiry dates that are frequently reskins, reissues or pulled from D1. Even the new ones don’t really wow me the same way D2Y2 weapons did. Bungie has made Destiny more of a “game that has something” instead of a game that is special and fun and engaging. Of course some of that is subjective but for me and probably a few others, even the activities you do to grind for weapons is terrible and repetitive. Really wish weapons were sunset every two years. Some of these weapons barely have space to breathe and are killed off only to be brought back again because Bungie.

Before I kept all 3 Chars same since sunsetting I don't care anymore if I achieve something special or not. Nothing is meaningful anymore.

I would never put myself through that or levelling. Not a good idea for me. You not only have to go through the stupid systems of grinding bounties and challenges all for a number but also do stuff on three characters. I seriously can’t be bothered. That’s why my Titan and Hunter are left at base light level every season. I only created them for the D2Y1 trophies and odd glitches such as the fast catalyst trick on Nightstalker Hunter and Shuro Chi.

Imagine weapons 2.0 came out and you could clean your vault of over hundreds of weapons. But certain rolls could only be found in certain activities making the grind for said weapons more worthwhile. Then you have to level up your weapon to unlock the slots in which you would add said perks to said gun!

Yu7Ziにより編集済み: 2/15/2021 3:45:43 PMBit of a combination of RNG and grind. Wouldn’t be bad. D1 used to have levelling on weapons and a lot of perks on them. Bungie then just went backwards. Wouldn’t be surprised if we got Weapons 2.0 with Witch Queen. The system’s getting stale now.
