I would just prefer to ditch the seasons and give the development time to major DLC's
Copying a system from Fortnite where the game stays basically the same into a game that needs to evolve is just not good in the long run.
But I quess you can add more "purchase this" buttons to the game that way so yeah.
Quality seasons and quality expansions will both be missed.

I had way over weeks of content to do in Forsaken. Just think about it. Undying/Dawn were big drops but their development cut from Shadowkeep. And for me adding that development into SK to make it from a day's worth of stuff into even that one week would've been massive.

Fair enough. I mostly prefer seasonal content because I hate having to wait a year for a new story. Having this continual narrative is much better for me, even if the gameplays... less good. If I get cool lore from it, I’m playing it.

I mean we still do have droughts of meaningful content. The only difference now are the fillers from seasons. But the things to do in these seasons are tiny, forgettable "activities" like wrathborn hunts and public events

ya seasons based around an rpg like game make no sense, its like hey force everyone to do these activities or its gone forever, if they do seasons then it should just be based on the artifact say you hit a milestone at the end and you get an exotic , a skin, and a bunch of materials or something. not like oh this gear and stuff just go away. at least you don't feel forced to do things like the hunt all the time for a rare drop ship that you wont be able to even go for in a few weeks
