More 6 player matchmade activities for seasonal content please!
Title says it all.
The sundial was taking us in the right direction.
We ended up with a non matchmade activity launched from patrol zones that took 2 minutes to complete and multiple runs of the same core activities (playlist strikes/crucible/gambit) we've been playing for years to charge the damn thing.

3 通の返信Demon_XXVIIにより編集済み: 1/22/2021 6:15:14 PMLast Years Season of Dawn (Sundial) was a great way to acquire the weapon you want (plus the synchronisation of Obelisks opened up the Tower Obelisk allowed to grind for weapon perks via the social space & use of Polarized Fractaline) The Sundial had A: Matchmaking B: Gear lock difficulty for the pinnacle C: Way to target specific weaponry D: Mechanics which were varied & offered reason to return due to the seal requirements & E: Something Bungie missed as an opportunity- different enemy types & locations The sundial being a time machine - could have whisked the 6person fireteam anywhere: Hoardes of... Taken on Dreadnought Vex in VoG Hive in the Crota Lamps etc

7 通の返信I would just prefer to ditch the seasons and give the development time to major DLC's Copying a system from Fortnite where the game stays basically the same into a game that needs to evolve is just not good in the long run. But I quess you can add more "purchase this" buttons to the game that way so yeah. Quality seasons and quality expansions will both be missed.

They had activities all last season And if last seasons activites were supposed to all follow a similar format we may see more things like wrath born hunts this season This is purely speculation on my part and im just using last seasons events and how they could be compared

7 通の返信I agree, but PCs are too weak and underpowered to handle larger activities. Consoles are fine, xbox series x and ps5 are 2 - 4x stronger than 95% of Pcs on the market.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light (Core/Seasonal Activities) [Solo and Boring] (A) By sunsetting this cooperative activities (Core)Black Armory Forge [1-3 players activitie with matchmaking: on], (Core)Menagerie [1-6 players activitie with matchmaking: on], (Seasonal)Vex Offensive [1-6 players activitie with matchmaking: on] and the (Seasonal)Sundial [1-6 players activitie with matchmaking: on] and those activities are fun because I am playing with my family-members, friends and random players and now those activities are gone. (B) It got replace by Beyond Light cooperative activities (Core)Legend/Master Lost Sector (1-3 players none matchmaking) (If Solo) Exotic Gear will drop, RNG rate is (Rare), (Core)Prophecy Dungeon (1-3 players none matchmaking, (Core)Empire Hunt (1-3 [Adept and Hero matchmaking: on] and [Legend and Master matchmaking: off]), (Core)Simulation:Survival, Agility and Safeguard (1-3 players none matchmaking)and the (Seasonal) Wrathborn Hunt (1-3 players none matchmaking). (C) Yes, I know it's ''easy'' to farm on Beyond Light cooperative activities but it's boring (don't deny it) and the majority of those activities are none matchmaking, and I cannot play with random players and make friends with them and yes, I can play with my family-members and friends but sometimes they are busy so now, I don't have other choices but to play with random players but I cannot because there is no matchmaking on those cooperative activities (Legend/Master Lost Sector, Prophecy Dungeon, Simulation:Exo Challenge and the Wrathborn Hunt) like I said It's "easy" to farm on those activities but those activities are boring, always solo farming and this game is MMO meaning massively multiplayer online (right?) but those activities can be done solo and it's absolutely boring 100% not fun, and don't forget about the [Seraph Tower Public Event] that cooperative activity is not fun too. (D) Black Armory Forge, Menagerie, Vex Offensive and the Sundial are not solo and also not very easy but those cooperative activities are fun because I can play with family-members, friends and random players, by sunsetting those cooperative activities Destiny 2 becomes a solo farming simulator. Yes, I exclude the Vanguard Strike or Nightfall: Ordeal and The Raid activities. Why did I exclude the Raid activities because not all us will enjoy it and not all of us has many friends to play with, and the Raid activities has no matchmaking.

Tkにより編集済み: 1/22/2021 8:32:48 PMI was always for it. But around this time last year people (maybe a very vocal minority) were actually complaining about 6 player matchmade activities and look what that got us... seasonal patrol public events and lost sectors.

4 通の返信Yeah Vex Offensive and the Sundial were fun 6 player activities. Then for some reason they decided to give us activities like Seraph towers, lost sectors & wrathborn hunts? 🤷♂️

Sometimes they failed, which told me there was just enough level of challenge for the average player that participated in the event. The Sundial was an activity that I played minimally. There were too many enemies in a small space. I would avoid the Sundial, if Bungie offered it again and it is not reworked. The next season Bungie followed up by putting too many enemies in a large space with the Seraph Towers. It led to numerous failures, player frustration, and angry forum posts. Over the Summer we had the Contact event. Like the Vex Offensive, it had the right amount of challenge where there was no guarantee of success. Unfortunately, it lacked matchmaking. I would still play it a lot, if it was offered again.

There were sometimes in the vex offensive and sundial where I would get matched with some ppl that had no clue what they're doing and added more frustration to the activity than what it needed to be. That's my only gripe with 6 man activities.. it's really frustrating have a few teammates that are incompetent or just bad at the game which makes the activity longer than it needs to be and just annoying.
