I've viewed the augment and penguins as Easter eggs all along. I don't care enough about their little rewards to get upset about them (still completed most of them because I had the time). The time-gate on Hawkmoon is kinda sad though, imagine we were able to go for it's perk since they began their winter vacations...heck, why not the week following its release?
