Let's math this out
Xbox game Pass Ultimate $14.99
Nvidia Geforce now $4.99 free gives you 1 hour of playtime no rtx
Stadia (pro)$9.99 but you can play destiny 2 with no subscription or pro no pro just means no 4k rtx so pretty much if your a destiny player you can ride on stadia completely free other than having to buy all the expansions and I'm on all of these I can tell you rumors about stadia must've been in the past cause theres no input lag only actual lag sometimes
Both stadia and geforce now have the same amount of games as we speak

TheArtistにより編集済み: 11/28/2020 6:44:00 PMYeah. If you’re strictly a Destiny player, Stadia is the better product because Destiny isn’t on Luna yet. But that only lasts until Amazon manages to cut a deal with Bungie. Stadia didn’t prevent Bungie from showing up in Game Pass....and in Bungie’s smart they didn’t agree to anything that would prevent them with showing up on the Luna platform, eventually. All in all, Luna is the better product, and is a better product because it has more games and better games than Stadia does.... and the way Stadia is going...I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Nothing. The platform is in pre-release testing. It’s not available to the general public. Participating in the testing requires signing up to be considered for early access, getting picked by Amazon, and then subscribing to the base service. It’s how Amazon is getting a level of buy-in from the initial players, and avoiding the the disastrous roll-out Goggle had with Stadia...and has been struggling to come back from.

From the narrow perspective that you’re looking at this from, I agree. But that is a toehold, at the edge of a cliff. Because it’s one that doesn’t translate into revenue for Google very easily, which calls its long term viability into question.

-
I'm sure it goes for other games too the only thing goes away in loosing pro membership is the free games you claimed through pro so if you actually purchased the game you should be able still play online completely free

This is where Stadia keeps screwing up. The business model for Stadia is different from the one Amazon is pursuing. Stadia is a virtual console.. What you are primarily buying from Google is freedom from being tethered to a box. So you are free to game anywhere that has fast Internet, and on any internet capable screen. But you still buy games from devs like you would on any other hardware platform. Though Google is blurring lines a bit as they try to play catch up ball. Luna is selling BOTH freedom from a box, AND Netflix-style access to a library of desirable games. The second part of this is where Amazon is looking to bear up Google and steal their lunch money. I love Stadia as a technology and a concept? But as a product it is lacking. Player numbers are low, which makes playing any kind of multiplayer game frustrating. Plus the number of desirable AAA game is low. And for that to be the case a year post-launch and at the end of a console generation where there are TONS of games out there, is sad and shows that Google is out of their depth here. Out of their depth and unwilling to acknowledge that they are. Everytime I see Stadia commercial I just smh. Because we they clearly don’t know what they’re doing and are marketing the platform poorly.

Crashdogg76により編集済み: 11/28/2020 8:21:48 PMYou should give it a go even though as far as wanting more games on either ones is a long shot considering Microsoft is buying everything up and having publishers pull the games from other streaming services for there game Pass and of course Activision blizzard's greediness

That’s the game here. Microsoft doesn’t have the money to outspend both Google and Amazon. Especially Amazon. Google is floundering because they don’t really understand how to market consumer products. Even though they arguably have the best system. Amazon, OTHO has pockets that are just as deep, and know consumers just as well—-if not better—than MS does. Google might get outspent. But Amazon won’t...and I doubt MS is going to want to thrown around the kind of cash necessary to make all the top devs in an entire industry not look at Amazon. By licking them into exclusive deals. Especially if Amazon’s model leaves more money on the table for the devs themselves.
