Nothing is being taken though? You aren’t really in the endgame, so this won’t affect you.
If you’re gonna quit, bye!

Why are you talking out of your ass my guy? Sun-setting is literally putting a power cap on certain weapons and gear while giving new armor for Beyond Light to replace it. It happened before Taken King, and it happened before Forsaken. I could run any raid in this game right now and I have every weapon that could do so except Divinity. Just because I'm not running your average sweat-lord loadout doesn't mean I'm not in the endgame. If you support sun-setting, then clearly this doesn't apply to you and you can go -blam!- off.

There isn’t an argument to be had about. Taking something implies you will no longer have the ability or capabilities to use it. They are taking away the Mars planet. They are NOT taking away your gear as you will still have the ability and capability to use it, just in non light enabled content.

Arcane Thainにより編集済み: 10/12/2020 11:47:36 PMI have old armor before the 2.0 armor update for Shadowkeep in my vault. Do I use it? No, I don't. It just sits there an doesn't nothing because it is useless now. I have it, but I couldnt use it for jack shit. That is exactly what is happening with Beyond Light. They ARE taking away your ability to use it in most of Beyond Light due to its power cap being limited to 1060. There is no reason for that.

Gemini Trashにより編集済み: 10/13/2020 7:15:58 AMTbh though Destiny is the only game I've played where loot dictates your level. Lots of games like Elder Scrolls and even DBXV you could play butt aas naked and for the most part you'd still be powerful. The skills and attributes are yours not you clothes. Honestly I find it strange Edit: NEW IDEA delete Power Level from gear and let perks be mods that can be equipped to your characters as skills. No more exotic armor or weapons, just mods that are skills the players uses. Power Level will instead be earned through leveling in content Is better

Hatterにより編集済み: 10/13/2020 11:58:12 AMWhat are you talking about....wait are you referring to armor rating or distinctly power/item level? The ladder elder scrolls doesn't have yes. That's in other games. But you run around in no armor without the proper build and find a dragon...nah you're dead.

Gemini Trashにより編集済み: 10/13/2020 12:04:05 PMAnd that's where you're wrong friend 😂 I mean if you don't have weapons it's a problem, but I run around naked more often than not in TES games. Don't really need armor when your weapons are so good they 2 or 3 shot, and getting negative dialogue because I'm in my undies cracks me up Point being though that my perks are mostly attach to my character build. Not some random piece of armor like in Destiny

As I said, if you don't have the proper build you are dead. I can do that too....if I have a mage build and I'm level 50, or I have a very powerful one shot rogue build. But LET'S BE REAL: How many people can actually do that really well? Like....10%. That is funny though, touche. You got me.

I am being goofy, but honestly I really dislike that me level is attached to my gear. Like "oop 1030 arsenal, helmet, gloves and chest piece, but wtf are those 750 boot? Get out my activities" I don't understand. Is my character just some squishy dude in an ironman suit or what?
