I'm 1000000% on your side here. Since the removal of skill based matchmaking crucible has been a shitshow on the best days and I too washed my hands of the disaster for personal enjoyment is no longer there. Unfortunately as one of the admins for my clan I'm obligated to assist the clannies with any and all needs so I still end up playing time to time, and it's just a giant headache from start to finish.

I've been loving the removal of sbmm now I can actually play without sweating in a quickplay match😂, if u wanna play people of my skill level I'd either play comp/trials/ or 3v3 sweats against other high level players.

They changed control to be CBMM this season but never changed the tooltip when you hover over to state its CBMM. Same with IB. Its not hard or time consuming to do, but it looks poorly on their game when they can't be bothered to update text for gamemodes when they change it. I mean how many other little things that need to be fix or updated are they not bothered to do?

Not going to argue with you, but I'll continue to go by what it says, unless you can find me something that officially states that all playlist (outside of comp and trials) is now cbmm and that it's a mistake that only one version says so.

Found it, from June 11th https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49254 "By the time that this TWAB is published, a few changes to Crucible matchmaking will be live. Matchmaking based on player skill has been removed from all playlists except Elimination, Survival, and Survival: Freelance. Trials of Osiris will continue to be matched based on the number of wins on your Passage." Although alot of times the C in in CBMM seems more about matching quickly than off of good connections
