The best power creep was during Black Armory. Weapons were powerful and strong and WORTH getting. Those seraph weapons are pathetic, and I only have them in my inventory because they have a chance to spawn warmind cells. Most of the archetypes the Seraph weapons occupy are not so great, and it only gets worse when you find out their roll possibilities.

I've got a roll on the shotgun which isn't bad. It has basically replaced the EP shotgun for me. The auto was meh, haven't tried the HC, but the smg aint too bad either. The machine gun is straight dookie for me.

Overall, I believe the EP shotgun still outclasses the Seraph Shotgun though. Seraph shotgun suffers from lower rate of fire, lacking ammo reserves, and smaller magazine size. The 16 in reserves is what kills it for me.

Agreed! While it is obviously possible to have “broken PvE weapons” (which is very debatable), it’s also possible to have worthless garbage that nobody wants. Bungie has a bad habit of over-correcting.
