I think this stat tells you everything you need to know about who the real Destiny players are and they are not the try hard's who want to earn everything fair and grind into the dirt, no.
They are the people who want to have fun and don't want to waste their time.
Simple and bungie never really understood this, never understood it's own game.

Played both destiny's. Destiny, 2 weeks achter launch .. Destiny 2 sinds bèta. And when sleeping/working/whatever.... I do the farming thing, like everybody before did the loot cave.. P.s. no loot cave done myself back in the day, because it was patched years ago...

I think this stat shows that most players have jobs and that the mat economy is currently at a point which simply isn't sustainable for those who don't have time to play the activities they actually enjoy and also grind boring things for mats without some form of cheese such as this.

Exactly... I remember back in D1, that place was always crowed to the brim with people cave looting... It was fun while it lasted. People always say, this is a grindy MMO looter shooter but that's not the truth. The bulk of people who played this game didn't care about any of that, they just wanted to get the cool stuff and not kill destroy themselves to do it. Have fun, goof around and enjoy.

I remember the days of why the Loot Cave even became a thing. It was because people were tired of turning in Legendary Engrams and only getting Blues and Greens out of them- it was a 'chance' for a Legendary. Then when they found the Loot Cave... players abused it, because having enough engrams to burn in the hopes of getting SOMETHING was better than nothing- even if it turned out to be trash, you didn't waste much time cause it was quick and easy at the Loot Cave, rather than doing the actual game. Bungie saw that, patched it... and made Legendary Engrams actually give Legendary rewards- as well start letting them drop more often. Every time a Loot Cave is found, it's for a reason... Example, Menagerie's bug with the chest. For the longest time, that could have been considered a Loot Cave. Then it was patched, sadly. But, Bungie did know of it... and let players abuse for longer than they should have, because it made players happy. And right now, the AFK Forge runs could be considered a Loot Cave.

SwankyButtersにより編集済み: 7/18/2019 7:17:32 AMHasn't it always been this way? People love a cheat, an exploit and most would use the hell out of it. Then people on the forums would complain and the fun would be taken away. Then back to grinding. Little by little I think this mentality killed the game.

It still has potential, and in a lot of ways is really impressive art. I think the forums are mostly just a place for players to interact with each other about the game and don’t really have any influence on the decisions devs make. For instance the riven clusterbomb method never got patched. I see what you’re saying and do agree to a certain point. I’m not even arguing I just see it differently.
