Could you pick a guaranteed slot of loot in Reckoning? No, you couldn't. So it isn't even close to the same. Could you lose and not complete Reckoning? Yes, you could totally fail, and get nothing? You and the others complaining about this fix that's still over a week an a half away, are the perfect examples of what it means to be or feel entitled. You want a bunch of rewards for little to no effort or risk. I remember running VoG, only needing the boots to get to max light, and it taking weeks and multiple trys to get them. But still enjoying the attempts. This game is about loot, but not only the acquisition of the loot, but the gameplay that leads to that loot. And I find your sense of entitlement, depressing and irritating.

  • And your inability to read and comprehend coupled with a false sense of elitism is laughable. If you're the kind of dullard that enjoys running the same piece of content hundreds of times for a single drop each time then you are in the minority, and there's not enough of you to keep this game afloat. I've already covered the majority of your post either in my OP or in other comments. Running a single piece of content repeatedly and not receiving anything meaningful or at least enough pieces of meaningless gear to be worthwhile salvage isn't entertainment for the majority of players, and without the majority, you don't have a game.

  • And you know you are the majority, and I'm in the minority, how exactly? Complainers on this forum, always think they are the majority. Pick a topic, and you will find people complaining, who will use the phrase, "well the majority agrees with me." The truth is, the majority of the player base doesn't comment on this forum or on Reddit. The majority of the player base, just plays the game as is. The most replied to post I've seen on this forum, was around 7,000. I think the D2 subreddit, has around 240,000 different people, ever discuss anything. When the Bungie, Activision split happened, Activision lost about 12 million monthly players with a little over 6 million, being Destiny 2 monthly players. So until you post something on one of the forums and get around 3.4 million upvotes, just stop using the term, "majority." You can say it's your opinion, all you like. But you have no idea what the majority of the players do or don't want D2 to be.

  • Saying that people don't want to run a single activity hundreds of time for minimal reward is a pretty safe assumption because it's basic human nature. If the majority of vocal players are calling it out across multiple activities then it's completely fair and justified to assume that percentage spreads across the rest of the player population. Your argument renders your own comments invalid as the only source you've cited is yourself, an overwhelmingly clear minority. I'm all for increased challenge, difficulty and tasks to be implemented in exchange for extra rewards, but I'm not interested in running a repetitive task over and over for petty rewards and next to no progression.
