*fire emblem flashbacks*
They were kids, man... kids! All because I didn't check the formation... an army between the real soldiers and them. God, Joshua's wife too...
Other than that, I've gone on plenty of rampages because people killed my turret, Martha, in BL2.

I just didn't birth (most of) the kids. I know it's a major part of the new games but it feels like such a grind for characters who have almost no story connection or support convos. I married charlotte (first run) but regretted it lol. I know a bunch of people sacrificed themselves in the final mission though. I was underprepared.

Actually the kids have a lot of support convos, its just with the other kids so you have to get them. Also on the last level I still felt bad about getting people killed, so I would only let people go down if they were confirmed alive (so story important characters or parents) and I managed to beat hard mode conquest endgame with only Niles, Camilla and two captured units going down.

Niles was a bro, dude. Carried a lot of fights. All the royal family were OP though, that was one major complaint I had about the newest games. You basically had to use the whole royal family, and most other units were lackluster in comparison. Still, RIP. I remember back in Awakening, Kellam, I believe his name was, was married to Cherche, and they both died in the last fight. No one remembered Kellam because the only person that ever noticed he was there (also his wife) died with him.

I dont really care about Kellam but hearing that Cherche died makes me sad. She was the character I would have married in game if I didnt marry Olivia As for the royals, not all of them are too strong. The only ones I always used were Ryoma, Xander, Takumi and Camilla. I dont think ive ever seriously used Elise on a file. There are definitely some great non royal units though (im just gonna talk conquest) Like Effie, Odin, Shura, Keaton, Benny, Silas, and as for child units, Ophelia, Velouria and Sophie were really good for me.

Murph Tha Smurfにより編集済み: 3/8/2017 8:05:44 PMI found Leo to be crazy strong. The only ones of the non-royals you mentioned I ever used was Silas and Effie, and I can definitely agree on Effie. Silas was always a little weak though, or so it felt. As for Elise, I used her the whole playthrough and she got pretty good once she had weapons, obviously. Also, for the record, I'd have married Cherche too if I wasn't an idiot and never used my avatar first playthrough.

BallsOutForBTにより編集済み: 3/8/2017 8:09:30 PMLeo is good, but wasnt always good enough to be a staple team member. Out of the ones I listed, if you play again you really should use Keaton and his daughter, they're both beasts (literally). Odin I can see why you wouldnt use him. Hes a trash dark mage, which is his base class. However, if you reclass him to samurai he will eventually become a swordmaster, and a godlike one at that. His speed growth is insane, and with his personal skill a forged killing edge will give him a consistant 50% chance to crit. He's also amazing at drawing aggro, due to low defense but having high avo, vantage and crits to keep him alive. Also how do you not use the avatar in awakening

I replayed it, but at first I was confused and just thought "I'll use chrom, he's the real MC" Yeah, it was a mistake. It was a new concept then. As for swordsmaster Odin, ill have to give it a try if I ever go back. I love the swordsmaster class, but I've never seen one come close to Joshua in Sacred Stones (nothing ever hit him, 33% crit with iron weaponry, ahh). I don't expect that, but since Lon'qu my expectations have been quickly falling. Ryoma was too tanky for me to think of him as a true swordsmaster, and Hana was just mediocre.
