In away they have, they brought back Year 1 perks (Rangefinder and Hammer Forged) some weapons and armor. I doubt they would let us infuse Year 1, instead slowly add "updated" year one to the RNG pool. Which would likely result in either Y1 Elemental Primaries losing their Elemental damage or (fingers crossed) getting turned into Exotics (like Zhalo). Plus IDK if it has been pointed out, but with Faction Packages the RoI Packages for Armor are TTK Vanguard Armor pieces with Faction Skins and the Chroma is TTK Faction Armor with all Chroma. Which I also like, it adds in depth to the universe with Factions getting "left over" Vangaurd Gear. I think in Destiny 2 they might continue this and put Y1 Faction weapons into a "Chroma Weapons Package." I would be happy if that happened.
