That's a possibility. I have no idea how many have exploited this glitch. If there are enough of them it can be detrimental to the game. Especially considering that it is far from perfect. There are non-exploitable bugs in the game that are pretty bad. Players might feel that Massive deserves some punishment too and abandon the game entirely.

I remember I switched a weapon or something and it bugged out so bad that my dps went to 297k lol
