So far the only punishment for PC players who hacked the game's code has been a three day ban.

32 通の返信The reason everyone is glitching it is because it's way too hard. I have a gear score of 200 with a 100k health and 65% bullet reduction and can stll get 2 shotted by shotguners. With no checkpoint it makes it nearly impossible to complete on challenge mode. One mistake and you have to start all over. With every youtuber that plays showing the glitch to their followers it's going to be hard for ubisoft to ban everyone doing it unless they want 70 percent of their player base to be banned. They should have removed mobile cover until they fixed all the glitches it's a usless ability anyways and only good for doing the glitch.

4 通の返信They would rather punish those who did and exploit that should have never been in the game in the first place instead of fixing the already existing problems. People still can't finish their Base of Operations because of bugs. People character are still inaccessible because of bugs. Several clipping glitches are still around. Some can't even access the Incursion. This game has been in development for quite some time had its first incursion delayed and entire month, no excuse for the lack of content and amount of bugs that exist within this half assed game. Just more corporate bullshit ruining a game that could have been great. More people need to tell companies like Ubisoft and Activision to -blam!- off, but do it with their wallets I know I have. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't buy the season pass for the Division, because I know I won't be buying the dlc. Forget Wildlands, gonna get Homefront instead.

2 通の返信This is stupid. Did it legit and didn't get the reward because the host already did it. Wasted 3 hrs and a half to complete it without the 240 reward, shader and jacket. I wasn't going to spend another 3 hrs to get my deserved reward. They should give it a pass because they rolled out a mission without even testing the most common glitches. These glitches were already present in the game before on the police academy mission. If they are not going to get serious with this game, the game will soon end. This is a small mission compared to the paid dlc that will be out in a couple of months. I hope things will get better. For now I am seriously considerinf selling the game.

16 通の返信Who gives a -blam!-? It will suffer the same problems as Destiny. This gear and progression that everyone is so upset about will be obsolete in a month or so. So massive has a choice. Let it slide or punish people. They need to acknowledge that the DZ is broken and will stay broken till they fix it and that their loot system is -blam!-ing garbage as well as a PVE version of the DZ. Or you can punish people and watch half your population drop away and never come back. If massive had their shit together then people wouldn't have cheesed it in the first place. A gamers time is valuable, you need to reward that time properly. Especially in a loot based game.

As for all the exploited high end gear, not much they can do without risking losing even more of the dwindling player base. When the new incursion is released and gear score goes up, they need to monitor it like a hawk and jump on any exploits immediately. Things shouldn't have gotten this bad. Once the exploit was discovered they should have removed mobile cover immediately until it was fixed or just make a new skill to take its place.

11 通の返信easy fix, remove all incursion gear and restart it it legit, for everyone. and/or anyone who tries to glitch through walls or whatever, instant character deletion

37 通の返信I feel like anytime, you, the player go out of your way to to take advantage of glitches in a game, you are acknowledging that you're playing beyond its scoped intention and are subject to possible loss of advancement... Yes, the developer screwed up, but that doesn't validate your wrong doing, just like forgetting to lock your car doesn't validate someone from pillaging it, nor forgetting your credit card somewhere and someone else maxing it out. I do not believe most of the people deserve to be banned, but I do believe a certain degree of reset is in order for all of them... I'm going to guess a lot of people will disagree with me, but a game with PvP implications adds a contextual element that makes what the glitchers have done more damaging if they go unpunished.

3 通の返信People are actually defending this shit game's problems, no doubt cheaters on a multiplayer game are a cancer to videogames and shouldn't be exploiting issues like this and deserve to be banned forever, but it's also the dev's fault for not actually looking into these issues early and instead have resorted to excuses (typical ubisoft shitfest) and late patches. Might as well leave the game as it is and let everyone cheat their way in since everyone can't make up their mind about the future of ubisoft's latest Play-doh set.

14 通の返信This is a video game everybody. Stop equating it to real life. No laws were broken. No money stole. No houses broken into. No cars pillaged. Tell Massive to fix their incredibly broken game. If they wanna punish the people who exploited, give EVERYONE gear and work harder at the next incursion. Give everyone a full set of every armor and tell the devs to get to work on some bug free content. And please stop comparing real life to a video game. When real life can be turned on and off with the flip of a switch, we can compare. Until that day, there is no comparison.

I don't want bans to be handed out to the exploiters but I want a rollback. Take away all Gear Sets from exploiters, even the ones acquired legitimately to show what will happen to anyone who decides to exploit a glitch as broken as the incursion exploit.

This whole incident the the result of people who skip of the game's Terms & Conditions. You all had to accept it the first time you inserted the game into your console/PC. It's also posted on Ubisoft's forums. It clearly states "exploitation of known or new errors will result in the revocation of game privileges". It doesn't matter if Ubisoft launched a game with glitches. Play a Bethesda game, they have more glitches than any game combined. The point is players knowingly violated the game's T&C and Ubisoft is well within their bounds to issue out any punishment they see fit. Be it loss of gear or characters, or a temporary or permanent ban from the game. The people who used the exploit literally have zero say in the matter.

1 返信I would think they could use the "I must have it NOW " attitude the gamers have against them. Create a new incursion, let it give out 250 gear the only thing is it cost ALL your 240 gear to enter. So anyone without 240 gear won't be effected and they could enter anyway. Anyone with a couple of pieces would see a temporary drop in their totals until they earn those pieces back. But people who exploited the glitch would be loosing everything just to start getting that new sweet gear.

Even if I only get a 3 day ban for this that's punishing me in the same manner that people get punished for legit hacking to give themselves an entirely unfair advantage in PvP. If this happens I will leave this game since apparently they have time to punish people but can't do something as simple as keep the dailies up and running.

By banning the players who used these exploits they are essentially destroying their own player base as well as their future revenue. Do you think that they'll ban every streamer/youtuber out there that used the glitch? No. They just can't afford to ban such a large number of people without [spoiler][i]Massive[/i] repercussions.[/spoiler]

6 通の返信I'm sure most of the hardcore player base are the ones who exploited the game. If they ban them, or reset progression, they might as well throw in the towel. I'll admit I glitched it once last week. Then ran it legit because I felt dirty. To be fair, matchmaking is horrible (they should match you with people within 10 ranks, ie 160-169, 170-179 ect) and the group I ran legit with was the only group I saw all weekend who posted on lfg calling for a legit run.

For me the division incursion was a bit of a disappointment, I was hoping for a bit more of a progressive mission/raid like activity rather than a horde mode. The glitch is boring but in my opinion it is equally as fun as doing the incursion legit. It's a no brainer why a lot of people glitch this activity.
