If you afk the heroic then you're trash. It's really not that hard. Obviously you have an option of the heroics difficulty and it displays exactly what you get for completing it. I never said it was hard either, learn to read. In fact it's the easiest damn thing along with the nightfall. They make it easier for you by giving you buffs like brawler and burns. I'm just saying it's the only real thing you earn in this games random loot. Are you irritated that whenever you "earn" your gun from a raid xür then proceeds to sell it? Nice insult there, make you feel better kid?

Do you even understand what I'm talking about? You know the strikes you run and get vanguard marks for? Yea you earn them. You then use the marks earned to purchase gear. You know how that works in real life? You get a job and get paid however much and when you receive your paycheck you use the money you [b]earned[/b] to buy things. Thus in Destiny you earn the legendary weapons and armor from the vanguard. You have to be a -blam!-ing 10 year old to think otherwise. Aside from that everything else if loot based like you said.
