They didn't say you couldn't keep things. Man the younger generations reading comp is so behind its scary.

If ive unlocked it and or been rewarded it, why do I have to delete it to make room in my vault for what I believe at the time is a better gun? Once unlocked, it should stay in ur possession unless you want shards or gun parts..... I dont need either, and am deleting a lot pf my old guns to make room for the new. -blam!-in dumb. Tbey should have a giant grid with all the guns in the game in it. So you can easily see what your missing and what you want to drop! Like every other RNG game out there.

They haven't said it, but since we already can't hold the weapons we got so far the OP's question is legitimate. "Infusing" more weapons without adding more storage space would be problematic. Specially when you see yourself forced to delete good weapons just so you can test new ones that most often than not end up being nothing more than pure garbage.

Ok let's try it in another angle : nobody at Bungie said you cannot keep your old stuff. Neither did I state that in my post. What they did say is, and I quote : "The most substantial injection of new, unique, and redesigned weapons, armor, and talents to date". Nice, brilliant, wonderful. But here is the catch : with all this new content, you're going to need space to store new stuff. Some old stuff will have to go. I legitimatelly ask the question whether we will have to limit ourselves when TTK comes out. I once dismantled Shadow Price and I cannot have it back. It's not the best AR in the game but the stories behind my getting it was smg that I will not forget. Right now I have entered the policy "No three times the same item, keep two at max, one is best" because I have to. Which is already quite annoying for a loot based game. Hence the two questions. TL;DR Can we have more space to keep old stuff and stock new one ? It's already tight in here with TDB and HOW. Do you plan to implement different solution for old gen and current gen or do you intend to not developp anything new for newer consoles and put the blame on old tech? (which btw is arguably a problem)

Gotcha. Yeah there's lots of misinformation about ascension of old guns. I thought that was what yours was about. I was wrong. Vault space. Yeah it's a problem an I don't think it's going to be addressed until Destiny 2. Unless the implement a cloud storage system linked to our binge.net profile.

There's misinformation because of a lack of transparency and communication on bungies part. I want to choose what I want to ascend and choose what new I play with not have it dictated. I want an old faithful legendary and constantly new arsenal. Let vault space dictate what I delete, not obsolescence.
