"The most substantial injection of new, unique, and redesigned weapons, armor, and talents to date" : it's a trap !
That piece of news caught my eye big time.
Question : does Bungie plan to improve the vault space after all ?
Will there be a discrepancy between old gen and current gen of consoles ?
Because what is the point of selling us that TTK will offer players "the most substantial injection of new, unique, and redesigned weapons, armor, and talents to date" if we cannot keep what is ours already ?

Now out of the two questions, one is answered, and the one rgarding the vault space is not.
From this we might deduce that :
[i]optimistic point of view[/i] - a big announcement will be made, maybe on the 07/07/2015 ?
[i]pessimistic point of view[/i] - there is no possibility to further enhance the vault space, whatever the console or system.
Being an optimistic guy, I'll cross my fingers for the first one.

When there are new level 40 damage and light our old stuff which we can't upgrade further will be junk. We all wasted our time on this game. People who just discovered destiny are lucky...day one players are getting hammered in the rear.

Looks like the damage rating on weapons after TK will all be light level based now so the power of your character determines the power of your weapons. I dont see the point in rendering all of our beloved weapons obselete considering the etheric light upgrade option. But hey you know its bungievision all they want is our $$$ anyway so screw us....

So far Bungie only added very few exotics pretty much every DLC if they allow us to bring over old exotics and combine with new and actually useful exotics it will at least make everything more fun since players aren't restricted to one load out. There wouldn't be the ghorn domination because there are other guns. Right now we have around 30 exotic weapons I believe creating a large selection just enhance the experience in my opinion.

I'm thinking if the rumors about lvl 50 are true, I think they want to try a fresh start in the game, it would render current weapons absolute if they keep up damage numbers and force the use of every other new weapon
