They need to get rid of the Splinter Mines. That alone would make the encounter much better.
I also think they should get rid of the random modifiers each week and just stick to one; preferably Small Arms, Specialist, or Catapult... something to help manage the mobs, more than anything else.
All the burns used so far allows ad management, however last week was in the favour of the ads, especially the sperm firers.
When there isn't a burn, I suspect most people will hate it as it will take 30 odd mins to do. And if the modifier is anti user like trickle, Light switch or grounded, I can't seen many wanting to do it at all unless you are a masochist.
