Ok, something needs to be done about skolas.
This is rediculous. I'm so tired of this bull it's not even worth the rewards. Only three people and several things to worry about is dumb. This is literally not even fun. There was no reason to nerf -blam!-ing qordon something needs to be changed in skolas. And before anyone says anything, yea I have beat skolas several times. But you need to have the right guns the right people on at the right time. It's stupid especially with no damn check points. I'm not even gunna waste my time on skolas anymore until bungie does something making it worth doing

2 通の返信Try this: 1. Run left and burn him until the first mines start. 2. Run as a team to disarm the mines and pass the poison. 3. Hit him again to get next mines going. 4. Repeat step 2. 5. Hit him until he is dead. We did this last night and it took us 18 min to take him down on our first try.

5 通の返信This week is so unbelievably easy without melting him..I find that one of each class works the best, but this week being nothing does extra damage its not hard at all. There's two 'safe spots' in the Fallen arena. On the far right, & on the left where everyone runs first to burn him. both sides where the Servitors spawn are the 'safe spots'. what you wanna be doing is rotating between those two zones the entire fight. Every 90 seconds adds spawn. it's got nothing to do w. HP levels. every 90 seconds the same adds spawn from the same doors. Clearing adds is crucial as they DO stack. They will not just stop coming, so killing them is crucial. at 65% health the servitors bonds will be broken & he will summon the essence on one of you. obviously just count it down every 5 seconds out loud, & whoever's gonna take it from you must stay near you. You wanna hold onto it as long as possible, I usually take it around 5 seconds. mines spawn at 50% HP & then again at 10%. Titans / Hunters should always go for the middle because it's the most hectic unless you're clearing adds properly. Which should not be an issue whatsoever w. This week...or you can power dismantle which works great this week too because nothing is a one shot. Takes two seconds per mine if all 3 of you are on it.

This was an easy Skolas with void burn. Praedyths hits just over 5k, so that's gonna take a while if you don't have an LDR or Her Benevolence which hits for 8800 or Ef Speer for over 9k. Hit head shots until mag runs out then switch to Truth and/or Corrective measure. Send your mine runner at around :25 on the clock. No need to pop a synth mid fight. Skolas takes under a minute to beat guys. Just bring the right weapons

4 通の返信uh.. armor (that doesnt have strength).. guns that have random elemental damage on them.. exotic bounty for one of three of the coolest and original weapons to date... (not to mention you can get two bounties at the same time allowing you to get 2 of those exotic guns out of one run).. youre just bad and play with worse players... relax.

Teamwork is the key to survival me and my freinds did it without spamming snipers at the start although there was a bit of luck involved near the end. When we tried to rush to get skolas health down that's when it went wrong for us so there was alot of patience involved in the end. Last week with arc burn was ridiculous I will admit that

I did it this week with my fire team My load out Atheons epilogue Sword breaker with the agility buff Chain of orbiks fel AssasinMERKz load out Word of Crota 365 praydeths Truth 365 Erratic hails load out WoC LDR 5000 365 void Truth 365 We just rotated and burned and the mines were my duty as a blade dancer. Took us two tries after his original fire team left him.

3 通の返信They need to get rid of the Splinter Mines. That alone would make the encounter much better. I also think they should get rid of the random modifiers each week and just stick to one; preferably Small Arms, Specialist, or Catapult... something to help manage the mobs, more than anything else.

6 通の返信I haven't got as far as Skolas yet but I will be interested next week because last week was arc burn and this week is void burn. If next week is solar burn, it will be next to impossible as he has a solar cannon.

me n two friends had near no issue killing him this week.. we just used Truth rocket launchers and some void snipers along with the hand cannon from crota.. took us a while but it was by no means bullshit? We hurt him, cleared mines as they came, controlled adds so we didn't get overwhelmed. you know; the shit you're meant to do? I got a Cipher, another ship, key n plenty of light/coins. team mate got a exotic gun.. so not sure why the loot isn't worth it
