Right, and you are talking about how we should stop putting our resources to the greatest threat, bend our butts over to another race that has mostly shown that it seeks our extinction, and has only pilfered and scavenged human technology to bolster itself, and integrate said “inferior” threat into our fold, only furthering the risks they could cause. I don’t think it’s impossible for us to ally with the fallen, I’d still be fine and dandy if they did. It’s just that given the threat they can pose in tandem with all the other threats, I just don’t see it as currently viable.

Yes, I am okay with waiting. Some fallen have proven that there is a chance that at some point we could be allies. It’s just for the time being it’s too risky to bring them under the fold right now. If they continue to prove that they could be allies, once the larger threats have been culled, we could then run the risk of allocating resources to join forces with the fallen.
