A little from Column A and a little from Column B.... I have melted newbies and have been destroyed by sweats. Just wish they would do the KD matchmaking instead of the who has the closest wifi. Time to give up the peer to peer and Bungie invest in some servers.

nope.. you are missing the point. the trials community for numbers has dropped significantly. We are not going to have new players and keep the franchise alive if they don't cater to all skill levels.

I think you're missing the point of "Trials" then. It's not supposed to cater to all skill levels. It never has. It probably never will. Nor should it even try to. You're not supposed to be a .8kd and go flawless by only playing other players around a .8kd. Just like you shouldn't be a 2.0kd and only have to play people around a 2.0kd. Some runs will be easy, some will be a sweatshop.

No you don't get it and likely never will... the game is supposed to be about competition and having fun.... not a full time job. You can agree with me or disagree with me I don't particularly care. I am speaking from a point of view that you don't get. So if you enjoy it the way it is great for you. I on the other hand do not. Competition is the key word.... playing at the same level as your opposition is what should be happening.

If you're not having fun, you shouldn't be playing, I'm afraid. Just about anyone who has ever played a video game understands your point of view. However, you seem to completely avoid taking any responsibility for your gameplay and how you can improve. You're 22-71 in Trials and have lost your last 29 matches IN A ROW. Matchmaking has nothing to do with that. K/D doesn't mean everything but with .8/kd overall and a .4kd in trials, its obvious that you're not helping your team when you're playing.

One more thing... I looked at your stats as well. So you are a sweaty team eh? Big surprise... you don't want bigger competition by playing those at the same skill level as you would lose your stats. You are exactly why I wrote this as a topic. And oddly the only person who has commented negatively. hmmm......

So... you think trials stats don't support the position I am taking. There you go... you don't get it. I play with a core group of people who.. when I convince them to play trials want to quit as a result of the sweaty teams. It's not a fun competitive match when you are out-gunned period. I am glad you took the time to prove my point. I am not going to abandon those on my friends list just to try to get a better team together. That's not what team play is about. And as far playing it goes I paid for the game and should have equal enjoyment out of all factions of my purchase. again you don't get it... you won't get it... so your point(less) remarks have been noted. This has been an on going thing since Trials first appear back in D1. It should never happen, Trials MM based on KD should (and hopefully wont) ever occur. I agree with casual you are not getting the point of trials. If it is too hard for you because you are losing against better player then either accept it or get better at it. Practice and improve. Trials is the only end game activity PvP players have. You just think that, if you get rid of the high skilled player base you will have an easy run, but far from it, although it would be easier of course, but then again, Trials is supposed to test whether or not you are worthy, and if you are better than your oponents (as a team) then you will succeed,if you arent fine, accept it. I dont play trials because I dont like playing sweats. I accepted that and I am ok with it. You can check me out, not a single trials game in D2, people need to accept their limits and that somethings are just out of their reach, so there you go, a non sweaty player that agrees with him. but dont worry, there are a lot of people like you that will upvote you, since there are obviously more average players that skilled players. And I am pretty average. the "I pay for the game" nonsense is just sad... hate it when people say that, so childish. Just practice and maybe one day you will go flawless, until then, either accept you can't or dont play it. Its just a game, you shouldnt get so worked up about it. But DONT ask bungie to make the road easier for you, is not how this works

It's not about making the road easy.... it's quite the opposite. I am talking about the competition being at the same level. Nothing more. When you say you don't like trials because of the sweaty teams and don't play as a result that's exactly what I am referring to. Why not have the awesome play the awesome? wouldn't that be better? as far as childish for what I expect for games i purchased.... your opinion. Hardly childish. So... you don't think that they would move in that direction. You suggest that it's an end game for those that are above and beyond? I don't get it.... who cares if they were to match it. They got rid of light level advantage thinking it would spark new players. They have more than just trials to fix. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and that is yours and this is mine. If Bungie is smart than majority of their players win. Put it to a vote match players based on ability and everyone has a good time. To think that there should be an elite group only club is juvenile. I enjoy destiny and have played since inception. Great way to kill time. have a great day

Of course it will be easier, all I have to do is lower my KD to 0.5 and then I get paired up against 0.5 teams so I can run through my flawless like nothing. And again, this is not what trials is, you go flawless if you win your games, if not then you wont. You are asking bungie to make it easier, by giving you people around your same level (in your case around your kd which is around 0.8 I think), which would obviously be better than getting paired up against stack teams with Kds above 2, or not? Also let me ask you, you are still getting the loot from trials via tokens etc so what is it that you seek that you can't get now? People have been asking for this for ages, most (if not always) of the times people who cannot go flawless, they have also ask bungie to move players who have been flawless to a different MM area, etc same thing, asking for an easier experience. LL never meant anything, since it was meaningless. No need to get angry just because I dont agree with you. I am just saying, trials loot use to be locked to wins, people moan and they decided to give them all the loot now for practically just playing trials, not even winning is important anymore, but no, people still want more, I dont get it.

Not getting angry Senior... asking for a more competitive environment. if someone wanted to cheese their KD to make a trials match then it would happen naturally as you would have a realistic KD vs KD experience. Not sure what the issue with this is? I am more upset about the amount of people that have left Destiny due to the overwhelming flop of a launch. I had played a ton of Destiny... likely more than any other game. I enjoyed the platform... even saw my way through the obvious issues with the first season. But the part of the game that I used to have fun with is now fundamentally changed. I have no chance of getting a trials team together due to the lack of players.... then when I do we end up playing people who eat live and breathe their Destiny controller in crucible. I again go back to what does it matter if they match KD???? Nobody answers this. They just say don't play if you don't like it. Very childish and completely void of any merit. If you enjoy a challenge and are competitive you would like having the KD matchups.... period! If you think it's more entertaining to target shoot as a team because you are better than them then you have little man syndrome. So mad... no. Confused by those that are short sighted... absolutely.
