yeah, I have read a few post to this effect. Bungie, my opinion, is changing things in preparation for the splitting of old and current gen. This will take some routing for lack of a better term to get old gen to go to one set of servers and current gen to go to another set. One would think it would be simple but without knowing all they are trying to segment I can only guess. So with the changes what was working just fine can now be frelled up. As a Dad, I understand your frustrating from not be able to play with your kid and him with you. If you have a tech savvy friend, get them to make sure Universal Plug and Play, UPnP is turned on and your NAT table in your router is set to open and not restricted. Those are the place to start.
