Can you make a status bar or something on the screen that lets you know opening shot is active? Like with rampage or rapid hit, but instead it shows that opening shot will be on your next shot?
Update: I'm a deaf player so I can't hear the sound it makes

Every single perk on weapons/ armors/ subclass that effects your character should have that notification that it is active or on a cool down. EVERY SINGLE F-ING ONE.

2 RepliesIf you swap your weapon and swap back, it will always have Opening Shot active on the first shot.
-
You can hear it on any weapon with opening shot it's distinct sound
-
5 RepliesI thought it was the first shot after a reload.

1 ReplyEdited by meatballsublime: 1/11/2019 8:26:31 PMReally... every perk that somehow effects a weapon's ability should probably have a status message. I know that may be extreme, but it would be really nice to know when things are in cooldown and when they are working.

Generally the gun chassis will give off a flash when an OS shot has been fired. From there, it’s a three second cooldown.

Count to 3

1 ReplyOpening shots a weird one. The first shot from your mag will proc opening shot. If you wait a bit longer, you can do it again. Strange huh?
-
2 RepliesThe gun makes a distinct sound to show the perk was active It would only show up for a split second in text anyways since it's the "opening shot"

I know that opening shot works on my snapshot bite of the fox because sometimes in not even on the head and I get a crit in crucible
-
5 Repliesi think the gun will have a glow go through it and it'll make a noise
-
1 ReplyIt makes a sound.
-
5 RepliesIt's the first shot. It's sort of implied.

10 RepliesDo the same with Zen Moment.
-
Zen moment too. Cuz it feels like it's non-existent. They took the prompt away so players can't test for themselves

1 ReplyBump. You should add to your post that you are deaf. There's a perk on fusion rifles that reduces charge time immediately after swapping to it (like Plan C) that releases an audio cue when it's ready. I would like to see notification for that perk as well in the bottom left, as well as other perks that don't provide a visual cue.

Same with every perk
-
2 RepliesI remember there being a visual effect like on under pressure. If there isn’t then there should be.
-
7 RepliesIt’s the first shot and has a 3 second cool down between shots
-
I want it too, but the gun shines for a second like rampage is active. A little white shimmer runs down it. I recommend you color the gun black to help.
-
Same goes for slide shot

2 RepliesTheir is an audio que that tells you and it only occurs on the opening shot of your first engagement then it should reset
