Battle.net stuck on Initializing
I'm trying to download the update on Battle.net but it just keeps saying Initializing, does anyone else experience this? I've already tried restarting my PC and my internet but it's still stuck.

Hi, I have the same issue, but I 've downloaded "Glasswire" to check my internet traffic, and it downloads just fine in the background. :) Don't worry, seems to be an UI problem (referring to Guts33n)

Mkay, deleted cache and stuffs in blizlaunch. reopened in admin, ran a file sheck. its still in "initializing" BUT, the update agent seems to be fully downloading. try to leave it like that for a while, looks like its an UI bug

What i did to fix my problem, was to close the battlenet and then deleted "battlenet" and "Blizzard Entertainment" folders at C:\ProgramData. After that reopen battlenet(do that as administrator, it may help), locate the folder of destiny and let it download. It will stuck in initializing again, but don't get mad! Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc>performance>resource monitor In the "resource monitor" window check at network tab, if a process "Agent.exe" is downloading. If it is downloading then it will unstuck after some time, don't interrupt it again just be patient. If that "Agent.exe" isn't downloading after that, then i really can't help you

4 RepliesYou need to wait longer. A lot of people are downloading, so it’s stressing the download. Just have patience and it will download, it can take couple hours or even longer.

I got the same issue, can’t finish installing the update, and this is quickly pissed me off, I’ve done file scans, contact blizzard and even go to try and grab my file so then I can uninstall the game and that didn’t work... my hands are tied and bungee please needs to fix this, I don’t know why this needs to happen now and I pray I this gets all fixed by at least the time of forsaken or I’m going to cry...

so is mine, its at like 98% of initialization. i have it half way downloaded too.

2 RepliesIm stuck too. It went from very slow speeds down to just initializing. I had 4GB left.. I don't know if I need to uninstall the game or what but I'm getting pretty fed up with this.

don't feel bad started download at around 4pm central and am at 77% on a 150MBs connection. might get done by 11pm maybe
