I recently saw a post about a very disturbing clan name. I feel they should be made to change it. “WeFingerFukBabies” is a name that should have never been allowed. Being a parent who has a child that plays this game I am a little appalled that he may see this. Not sure where to report this. Anyone thinking of saying it’s just a game and that this isn’t a big deal don’t bother replying. This is disturbing and extremely inappropriate on so many levels.

33 RepliesEdited by Seraphim Crypto: 10/16/2017 8:28:21 AMBungie recently explained this in their latest This Week at Bungie. I quote.
Destiny 2: How to report Clans or Players When playing Destiny 2, players have multiple avenues to report players or clans that are suspected of cheating, using abusive language, or engaging in poor behavior during gameplay. The Bungie Security Team and Bungie.net Community Ninjas receive reports and execute moderation as necessary. If a clan name or description breaks the Code of Conduct, players may use the in-game Report Clan tool located on the clan inspection page.
Once the Clan Search function is enabled on bungie.net, you also can report such Clans via bungie.net Reprot Tools. Bungie has stated several times that Clan Names, Mottos and Mission Statements that break the Code of Conduct will be removed. It might not be instant, but I can assure you they will be taken care of.

There was another one, "Caballs Deep In the Queen" which also shouldn't be allowed. I reported this awhile ago, and don't know if anbody has d one anything about it.

14 RepliesWe got shot down for using tittytown, so yes this needs to go.
-
This is definitely in bad taste, even for me. I hope Bungie does something about it.

7 RepliesDestiny 2 has a 16+ age rating. If you wanna be a good parent how about you don't let your kid play a game thier too young for.

38 RepliesI’m glad you have brought this to the attention of Bungie. I read most of the replies below. Disappointing, even though most of them are children mouthing off in what they perceive is an anonymous social space. Three thoughts: 1) I’m certainly disappointed that people are defending a name that describes violence to babies. Bats is not trying to be your parent, he is voicing a social ethical stance that is normative. If you think this is funny, then you certainly have a problem. 2) The clan name is describing illegal activity. 3) I’m not sure your free speech covers the promotion of illegal activity (remember that this is an international community here) and who you associate with matters. If you ever came to me for a job and I did a background check on your internet activity (again, normative in the corporate world) and I found out you associated with a clan of that name, I would not hire you. Someone else said it below. What you do as a 13 year old has consequences on you as a 22 year old. Learn that lesson now. Harsh? Yep-that’s right. Welcome to life. I’m certainly happy to speak out on this issue, knowing that I’ll be attacked by this community for speaking up. Some things are just worth it.

1 ReplyI read the Title and expected to tell you to toughen up... but that name is terrible and has no place here. I laugh at the occasional penis reference in clan/user names, but yeah.
-
16 RepliesHahah that's a brilliant clan name. Get over yourself kid.

1 ReplyI do agree with you about that name being offensive. It’s clearly against the EULA. What I don’t agree with is any call for Bungie to do something about it. I’ve heard worse language on a Minecraft server, and I would rather Bungie use whatever resources they would have used to satisfy your thin skin on improving this game.

7 RepliesEdited by Homble: 10/16/2017 5:57:11 AMWhile it may be in poor taste, people shouldn't have to change their clan names because someone else was offended by it. I'm not going to bring up freedom of speech, because contrary to popular belief it doesn't exist in video games. It's a private corporation's creation and they can decide what stays and what goes. So leave it up to Bungie, but you shouldn't be calling for change as if your opinion matters more. Just report.

1 ReplyWelcome to the internet and by extension, the world. Can't shield your kid forever.

Most likely pre-teens. They think that kind of crap is hilarious. They learn very early in life now that there are very few or minimal consequences for their actions. That's today's society for ya.
-
I will say that for the most part you should be able to name your clan what you want but names like that take it way too far.

2 RepliesIt's truly disgusting to see people on here defending such a disturbing clan name.

3 RepliesYou guys are just wow... have to tell on everything. You guys are sensitive about everything these days. Just leave them alone.

14 RepliesOmg. Go to our safe space. 😱

1 ReplyI heard about this too, absolutely disgusting. Honestly I can't even comprehend how someone even thought of such a disturbing clan name, and to make it worse, people actually joined. Wouldn't mind them all just getting banned in general.

Agreed. One I saw was "clew clux"..... Definitely not a good choice for a clan name.

2 RepliesMine was "8 inches deep". Had to change it.

14 Repliesfirst, if your child is young enough for this to be a concern, bad parenting on your part. online games are NOT child friendly environments. this is an inappropriate name, the steps to air your grievances has been noted several times. still the bigger concern to me would be why is your small child playing this? it has a teen rating with the standard online gameplay may provide more adult material as it's mostly adults playing. if you are so concerned with your child seeing a clan name what about the rest of the expedience? Do they never party up with others? the things said in party can and usually are waaaayyyy worse than an offensive clan name....get you child age appropriate material, save your need to report and complain behind.
-
Just explain to your child why some one would do this, don't shelter him from the dark side of humanity, he/she is not gonna have mom to block the world later on in life. I'm gonna quote Clint Eastwood "this generation is a bunch of pussies"

Edited by JumpingZebra428: 10/17/2017 3:27:52 PMI met a clan called no blacks allowed.

There's a basic lack of humanity in that clan name !
