>Rap isn't music People who say this are funny. They know they can't rap at all, because rapping is a talent and skill you need to work at, and they like to deny the fact that many raps require clever song writing. Plus many rap songs require you to actually feel it, since many are aimed at pumping up (or are used for that purpose). Like how alternative music is generally more chill and pop is more bubbly, you have to be in the right mood or have the right intention of listening to it.
