I, to this day, don't get how any of you are running out of vault space. What are you people keeping in there?

Tons of stuff incl. hopes (that an archetype will be buffed one day) and memories (I still have my first trials drop as I am sentimental...). Once it's full I just take a deep breath, play the endgame of vault management and delete a few items.... it's just the way it is.

Vault management is the true endgame in Destiny! Good post!
I, to this day, don't get how any of you are running out of vault space. What are you people keeping in there?
Toothbrushes and Raman coupons.

Lol. Yeap. I still have tokens from each planet and planetary materials (both green and blue versions) vanguard tokens, raid tokens🤣 The crap I kept is amazing. Still have my original white set of armour that we got at D2 launch (that was, last time I looked) at zero power. Was always a hoot playing PvP in it hahahah.

Spare weapons because I like making builds and try to use new weapons in most of them. Mementos from year 1 that can't be obtained anymore. Good rolls of weapons that are currently hard to farm or impossible to obtain. Exotics I like with good stat rolls because I don't want to use the stock stats when I put it into a build. A few exotic class items for my characters because I don't want to refarm them should I want an interesting but not meta combo for a build. Weapons I'm still deciding if I like or not. Different people play different ways just because you don't want to use much of your vault doesn't make me wanting to use most of mine wrong.

Not sure if you meant it, but that original post comes off as excessively condescending. Looking down on people with full vaults is pretty heavily implied.
-
Don't hoard useless sht then. If you're still "trying to decide if you like a weapon or not", its useless and not needed. If you havent used it in six months, trash it.

Editado por ACROCANTHUS: 6/18/2025 2:21:46 PMNice job ignoring the rest of the post and hyper focusing on the maybe 30 slots that I use to hold weapons before I can test them. I use almost all the gear in my vault besides maybe half a page of keepsakes buddy. And the "if you're still deciding if you like it it's useless" statement you made is a load of crap. Plenty of times I'll get an interesting roll, vault it because it wouldn't work well with the build I'm using then pull it out a week later for a new build and love it.

It's hilarious that you think there's so much build diversity that you feel the need to hoard stuff when many of those things are functionally doing the same thing. """"Builds"""" in this game are laughable; the only time you need to optimize your loadout is when you're doing low man raids or solo-flawless dungeons. 700 spaces is more than enough
-
Editado por ACROCANTHUS: 6/18/2025 2:38:50 PMIt's hilarious that you project your lack of creativity onto me. There's plenty of build diversity if you know where to look. And I didn't say anything about optimizing builds, so I'm not sure where you got the idea to bring up that only solo dungeons need optimized loadout from.
-
It's hilarious to me that you think using one gun or armor piece over another is creativity. And I mentioned solo-flawless dungeons because they're the only things in this game that are challenging. You can succeed in literally 98% of the PvE content in this game running whatever (unless you suck). Since that's possible, optimization isn't required.
-
And now you're putting words in my mouth. I don't just slot another weapon into the same build and call it creativity. There's plenty of room for build creativity that you just can't see. Sorry buddy. Okay and? That's still not relevant to my point. I'm still making unique builds for general play. A build not being suitable for solo flawless dungeons doesn't mean it has no value. I'm walking away from this conversation now since you've chosen to die on a hill about solo flawless dungeons, which just aren't relevant when it comes to keeping weapons to allow for more personalized builds in general play.
-
Ooh, he's walking away from a forum post. We've got a badges over here! Again, """buildcrafting"""" in this game is laughable, and you're an idiot for thinking things that are functionally the same are different and creative. But I guess that's Destiny players in a nutshell.

I have 350 items in my vault. Fewer if I equip stuff on my 2 characters. They hoarding.
-
Pvp, pve all 3 characters for different metas, all exotic armor pieces.
