115 to 47 still wasnt good enough?. This is why people quit. Whats the point in playing when quiting and trying again is so much faster.
Update: Just had a match end 127 to 49. Like wth. People kept leaving and joining. Nobody sticks around then it just runs out of control very fast.
If a team hits 75 and has more than a 30 point lead it should be over immediately.

120 RespuestasWhat would be your preferred mercy rules per game mode? Would you say Iron Banner Control should have different mercy rules than regular, or would both be at the same scores?
-
My experience is typically I'll lose a match 125 to 40, it won't break up the teams, and then I continue to play against the same teams and players for the next three games. Later I'll play and win 125 to 124 and immediately it will break the teams apart to find a better match. It feels entirely backwards. The 125 to 124 is the game I want to keep playing over and over and over. I don't want to win 125 to 40 and I don't want to lose 125 to 40. Those matches where you barely win or lose are where it's at; the thrill and fun is just on point.

2 RespuestasMercy rule should automatically kick in if there is a 6 stack of hunters on the opposing team.

Oh I remember the good old days of D1 when there was no mercy rule and we could absolutely annihilate people for an entire match. Then people cried about it and here we are. Shouldn't even be a mercy rule at all. Let's take it back to how it used to be.

It wouldn’t matter if MM wasn’t trash. 2v6, yup launch it.
-
I've turned games around 100 - 40 dude. Don't want it too early.
-
Bungies SBMM is actually just a monkey that throws it's shit at 6 names on the roster as you queue. Those people then become the enemy team. It's actually 72.6% more efficient then using their own algorithms based on players stats. True story!

3 RespuestasEditado por BCNiSS: 1/23/2020 2:13:40 AMACTUALLY What is missing from this equation is Why the hell are there so many blowout matches when this is supposed to be a sbmm mode? Your 'sbmm' for all modes doesn't seem to provide actual skill-based matchmaking. What is the criteria? This guardian and maybe one or two others would love to know?

Iron banner is an absolute joke. Mercy rule takes too long. Light level means nothing and the game forces you to gain nothing but defeats. Teammates ignore zones because of bounties that say get kills. Make it be clash I'm sick of this wolf hunt. Speaking of wolf hunt DECREASE THE TIMER! I'm sick of it taking so long giving the enemy team a big advantage. Or remove it. It's annoying when enemy teams can have multiple stinking hunts in a single go. Or put in a cool down on the hunts.

Iron Banana match begins. 3 of players on my side left right away. Not get 'mercied' as we get pummeled. The match is be over as soon as 3+ players on the same team left the match...
-
I hate joining late games and credit for the match while flying in lost or join a late match and 10 secs after mercy roll.
-
Mercy honestly shouldn’t kick in as much as it does. Bungie’s matchmaking is a joke at the moment.
-
The mercy rule was always a funny concept to me. Surprised it still exists.
-
NO! This mercy thing is slowing down progress on quests and bounties. It's pointless.
-
Mercy Rule can not be activated until four minutes has passed. After the lockout has been lifted if at any point the winning team's score reaches 3x that of the losing team the game will end in a Mercy Rule. This means that it is possible to lose the ability for Mercy Rule to activate. For example in Control since the winning score is 150, once both teams have reached 50 points the game can no longer be ended in a Mercy Rule.

10 RespuestasYou can still make a comeback at 30-40 points. I’ve done this in games and I’ve had it done to me. You get comfortable with your lead you start playing sloppy then the team comes back and gives you a spanking. 50+ there’s really no chance and should be mercy. Also there should be temp bans for Iron Banner like Comp and Gambit. Quitting negatively impacts your team and you should be punished for punishing your team.
-
2 RespuestasMy favorite is the 2 minutes of play after the mercy is called so you can still die to 3 more supers and a shotgun ape. So brutal. Lol!
-
2 RespuestasIt shouldnt even exist. Just deal with the L. Id rather it be gone so that even if my teams getting slaughtered i can still get bounties done or super kills
-
2 RespuestasMercy at 30 point lead? That’s ridiculous. Ive been behind by 50+ points and still won. Take your beating then move on.
-
If you have a 30 point lead it depends on the game if it’s clash then that’s alright there is no point if even trying. If it’s control and your lead is 30 it should continue because all it takes is two zones or power play and 15 kills to catch up. It’s that no one plays the objective

Quit a match and the system detects it was indeed on purpose, 15 min penalty, do it again? 30 minutes, so on and so forth till people get the hint.

These high level people teaming up looking for mercy’s. You want to make it even easier for them!? Lmao

PvP just needs fixing all together lol

I agree, but I'd also bet if they would stop allowing stacks of 4 or more players play teams with only stacks of 3 or less there would be far less mercies overall. The only time that mercies seem to happen, in my experience, are when a stack creates an imbalance in the matchmaking. For example, I played a 6 stack twice the other day in Iron banner out of probably 15ish matches and only those two games ended in a mercy. After checking the player data on destinytracker.com, I found out that our team only a 2% chance of winning and about 400 less "elo" than the stack did. It was never going to be a close match, just a beating. Stacks break Bungie's matchmaking and should only match each other.
