It was working fine when it first updated. It was working fine until I noticed the micro stutters and freezing(very minor but noticeable) so i put on maximum pre-rending frames to 1; didn't change anything.
So the next logical step was was to update windows and did...turns out it made it even worse. Moving my mouse caused the fps to drop and going to the tower or planet was even worse(30-40fps on both plus freezing and not to mention fights on planets 2-10fps)So I uninstalled that which made gave me a few more frames...in orbit. Everywhere else still runs as I mention above
When that didn't work. I tried updating every device, rolling back drivers(my nivida driver) changed graphic settings/control panel settings for d2, disabling g-sync. I have tried everything and nothing fixed. Heck I did a hardware scan, cleaned my desktop. Everything. Still nothing. So I am out of ideas.

1 RespuestaEditado por SurgeonTaco: 3/7/2019 4:31:04 PMHaving the same issues but I found a workaround. I narrowed it down to having dual monitors. If I physically unplug my 2nd monitor then all the issues are resolved. I am running Destiny 2 in 1440p on one monitor in fullscreen mode normally and would get around 90-120 FPS. My other monitor would run discord. Since this problem has appeared my FPS has dropped down to 30-50 with the same setup. Destiny 2 is the only game that is experiencing this issue for me. Steps I tried before just unplugging monitor: - Fresh install of windows - Update graphics drivers - Fresh install of drivers after fully uninstalling them - Old graphics drivers - Removing cvars file - debug mode in nvidia control panel - overclocking gpu - underclocking gpu - disabling g-sync - disabling one monitor - full screen/windowed modes None of these steps did anything to resolve the issue. The only way I can resolve the issue is to physically unplug one of my monitors from the graphics card. I tried it with only one g-sync monitor and one regular monitor but the issue returned. For my rig it is dual monitors causing the issue. Hopefully this issue can be resolved because unplugging a monitor when I want to play destiny is somewhat unacceptable. Not really the end of the world though. Specs: i7-8700K GTX 1080 TI 16gb ram 2x Dell 1440p 144hz 1ms G-sync monitors Windows 10

1 RespuestaI have the following. 8700K rtx 2080 32gb RAM 1080p gsync 144mhz monitor I have tried in game setting lowered, gsync off, scan and repair and clearing the cache folder. I was 141 fps Monday and before. Tuesday its now terrible. Under 50 most places. Feels like im on a laptop with a 2008 video card.

Is there any difference if you go to a Lost Sector or solo Nightfall? Made a post here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/251252020?sort=0&page=0

1 RespuestaI'm also having a similar issue, always used to get 100-120 FPS and now I'm getting 50-70 no matter what settings I change and it seems g-sync will not work with destiny 2. Other games work fine and when I played destiny 2 last week I had no issues but now I get constant screen tearing, fps drops, and stutters. I also tried reinstalling, rolling back drivers, changing mice ( I now also notice it's even worse when my mouse is set to 1000hz polling rate ), swapping out monitors, turning g-sync off, changed install drive to different hdd / ssd, changed every setting I could find, and all of it to no avail. Like I said it ran fine last week and all other games I have run fine as well, it's only destiny 2 with the issue and at this point the game is unplayable. I came here to make a post and found yours so I'm a bit glad I'm not the only one. At this point if I could ask for a refund I would but I know that won't happen with 100's of hours logged. Specs: i7-8700k ( have tried at stock and 4.8ghz overclock ) GTX 1080ti 32gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz Game currently installed on Samsung 960 EVO m.2 NVME ( Also tried changing to a SATA SSD and a regular HDD with the same results) Monitor is a Dell S2716DGR 27' 1440p 144hz G-sync monitor ( I have tried 4 other monitors and it the game still runs poorly.

2 RespuestasHi Jericho. Thanks for your report. Some players have said that the uninstalling the last Windows has helped with this issue. We're currently investigating. What kind of monitor setup do you have?

I'm having issues myself. my set up used to run just fine but something changed. currently getting 20 frames outside of the destinations menu in which I only get 30. this happens no matter the settings I apply. Specs: HP Z24i IPS display x2 Radeon RX 460 16gb of ram.
