At 75 am l still the oldest guardian playing Destiny?
Yes l made 75 today and it got me wondering if l’m still the oldest guardian playing Destiny. I was fortunate enough on my 73rd birthday to be featured by Bungie as the Community Focus (July 2016). I learned then through the forum posts that there are many older gamers playing Destiny but l seemed to be the oldest. I don’t mean an elderly person who has been handed a controller by their grandchild and instructed to move the character around in the world, l am an active player in Destiny almost every day.
Its sad to see the Destiny Community drifting away as l have had so many enjoyable hours playing this game. I participated in the oldest fireteam in Destiny. Two of us were about my age and the third was a few years younger. Hopefully as Bungie implements their action plan it will rejuvenate Destiny to its former status.
Thanks to all the gamers who friended me and helped me along the way, your help and advice is greatly appreciated as there are many things l can’t do alone.

1 Respuestanaw you aint. I am 82. Been playing Destiny 2 for a couple of years now. Just bought and am playing Black Armoury. Have a level of 584 and never ever done a raid!! Dreaming City is , for me, complicated . Have just upgraded to x box one x . Unfortunately TV is only 50hz so not getting full spectrum of graphics. Not sure if it matters? Anyway old man keep rocking, and would welcome any invite to join team doing raids. Oh and stupidly infused Thunderlord in a senior moment , am devastated. Have real sense of lose and irritation at myself. Ah well it is only a game

4 RespuestasGot you beat, just turned 76 with a bit of a speach problem to make things a bit more interesting, so have solo'd my way to 358 so far. Great post and would have replied earlier, but had to figure out how to make the print bigger to read it😆.

I Love you all Guy'S ;) I have an Clan too and there are 2 60+ 'daddy's' - To run with them in the darkzone in The Division plus talk with them on my Teamspeak is SO f.ucking amazing!!!!!! Must have actually voted for, or against, Reagan. Must actually know the difference between a Mach 1 Mustang and pos they make today. Must have thought, "Hmm, Atari, theyll never top that", and meant it. Must have achieved the title of Grand dad, great grand dads preferred.

Thats great. Im only 65 but the best part is when I team up with my grandson. i know another guy who plays with his son and grandson.... now that would be really great.

That's really cool and I love the replies and support for you. I keep saying I'm going to outgrow this myself; especially, as I sit here wasting valued life time waiting for the Taken to spawn so I can master the jump puzzle b/f I go with a team for the ...what we called the old "BS" .... Now that we know old guys rule --can't help but wonder the most mature mom or woman that plays Destiny...... Keep on Guardian ---- Thanks for the refreshing post!

I respect u for being a fellow Cancer but at 75 i pray I'm not into video gaming... maybe single player campaigns but not this toxic online stuff... I just turned 40 on the 3rd of July so by the time im 75, i might actually be able to smack these youngsters through the screen virtually so i might play...

So we all need to be looking out for Guardians popping sanatogen at the tower,high visual sparrows with audible reverse lights,woolen gauntlets,paisley jumper chest garment,corduroy leg armour and a bundle of draped menthol Kleenex.Seriously though at nearly 47 i thought i was knocking on,so trilby hats off to you and goes to show how universal and open gaming can be.
