Lets talk Nightstalker
Nightstalker needs some work at the moment it is the only super from the taken king that was not nerfed its a fact that all pre-nerfed taken king subclasses were better than the original. Nighstalkers are BROKEN. Don't believe me?

I can't say there any more broken then the striker or void walker sub classes. For one point saying it's op because you can melee and throw a grenade at the same time is just stupid. I can do that with blade dancer and every class can do the same. As for tether how is this different from a Titan smash or a well placed nova bomb same result. The hunter doesn't have any other way to shut down long time frame suppers. Will there be a small nervous yes but there will also be buffs to the other two subclasses to make hunters more balanced and one of those will be a buff to blade dance.

3 RespuestasNight stalker was strong because it was all about neutral game. Which is 90% of pvp match time. However it was balanced because neither a nade nor the "melee" was strong enough on its own to net kills. Expending both abilities to trap and get a guaranteed kill is balanced. Period. And the shade step was nerfed because bungie wants a slower paced game. Anything and everything that's ever gave players more movement options and/or increased the pace of pvp has been promptly smacked into the ground. Regardless of the skill involved. Pvp became a joke a long time ago. Now it's just sad. Just wait titans. Shoulder charge is next for the chopping block. It's way too strong and useful to be left un checked. Would say the same for warlocks but they neutered your neutral game with this update as well. If I was ever going to pvp again I'm certainly not now. Bungie is clearly incompetent when it comes to design. They have NO idea on how they want destiny to be. And they would rather bend over backwords for the crying minority then actually think about the changes because its easier this way.

2 RespuestasHonestly, I have never understood the complaints about firebolts, even with ToF and VF active. However, I also do not understand the complaints about the wombo combo, or the shadestep. Wombo Combo is a nade and melee ability - it [b][i]should[/i][/b] hit harder than just one. Not to mention, NS grenades alone are weak as hell - the voidwall is unpredictable where it is going to spread, and the vortex and spikes are easily avoidable (unless you are just standing there). The smoke basically assists with maintaining grenade dmg by slowing you down. And the shadestep is an [i][b]evade[/b][/i] - as in [i][b]avoid taking dmg[/b][/i] - why everyone gets so pissy about the fact that it does what it is intended is beyond me.

I myself main a nightstalker, what's so OP about them? The super that you have to wind-up for and can easily be killed while casting? That takes more time to activate once landed than most weapons ttk? The grenades that are oh so crazy good, that have no tracking and are all about placement? The melee you have to take a perk for it to do damage? The tier of talents that are mostly boons for your team? Keen scout, guns have those perks of you want it so bad. Shadestep? Evasive maneuver given there is no talent for overshields or health regen on kills. Learn to play against a nightstalker, just like you have to play differently against a striker or sunsinger.

3 RespuestasI think that shadestep is op it doesn't need to give brief invincibility and I think maybe like a very small tweak should be made to smoke grenades. But at the same time the shadow shot Is pretty terrible in PvP.

That video and this post made me laugh 😂 so basically you have an opinion based off the video you watched? And from what I recently saw in the video, he seemed like he is against every other class besides warlock which is okay, that is his opinion and I respect that. But honestly I find myself questioning this video because the lacks of explaining how to fix the brokenness perks, subclasses, ability etc. yes he have evidence which again I'm not doubting nor insulting him, I respect the man for going through all that time to see. But again it just seems one sides. And so does this post at the moment. Yes nightstalker haven't been nerf which is a good thing. If anything it just needs some tweaking and so does the other subclasses. Shadestep is not op but it does get annoying, but one can easily kill a hunter in mid-animation. And for the wombo-combo yes it used up two charge which is why I don't really sweat about it, but again you have a Titan suppression grenades that can cancel your super,ability to jump/ move in some extent etc. what people fail to realize that you can counter shadestep, with a defender Titan which happens quite often. Everything in this game has a counterattacks and countermoves. Am I defending the class because I'm a hunter main. Nope not at all... I'm just confused cause since launch it was sunbreaker was OP, than Stormcaller and now nightstalker, WomboCombo, Shadestep. Lol soon people will be calling nerf for removing the radar because it gives away my position. I just think one should just enjoy and have fun while playing a "digital video game"

Cut this crap off already. Nightstalker has passive written all over it. The super is essentially someone else's grenade put on a 5 minute cool down, which will kill an enemy once upon a blue moon.

It is very hard and you must be amazing with angles. But if you meet someone who knows how to use it then you will understand how good it is. The reason I don't care is because there aren't many people who are good with it.

If not that then it's being killed mid animation of Tether. All that class has going for it is shade step lol Quit calling for nerfs, it's destroying the game.

I personally think they should leave all the classes alone. They all have their goods and bads. But his video is just a rant about how he thinks nightstalkers are OP. When you have an opinion you skew the facts to fit within your opinion. He talks about how easy tether is but in reality it's a super that doesn't guarantee a kill. You may use it but if you miss you're done. There's no splash and if you have a storm caller coming at you then you're done. Best you can hope for is to remove his super so he doesn't kill your team. They're all good. People are just whiney. Don't nerf anything. A couple could use a buff like defender and hit registration on hammers but mostly it's all good. And he says there's nothing in the game like shadestep but his opinion skewed the facts because all titans can get twilight garrison. If you have an opinion stay unbiased or nobody will listen.

3 RespuestasNo 1 subclass is better than another. Each one has its good and bad spots and its own different counters. In a way it kind of promotes having a very diverse team so you can have counters to all sorts of abilities.
