Pre-order, you mean I have to spend more money, what was the microtransactions for, because if that was only for funding the April update, thats just sick and greedy, a sick April fools joke.
It would be better to make it free since Destiny will no longer support last gen, create some incentive for last gen players to upgrade.
It would make them somewhat happy at least.
(oh and don't get the wrong idea, I'm excited for the expansion and love the game, but we are all getting tired of spending more and more money)
(edit: When I mean spend more money, that's if I want to continue the story with new content, I know no one is forcing me to spend)
(Edit: things have been cleared up about the microtransaction live event funding, don't comment about it)

2 RespuestasNobody ever said micro transactions would pay for dlc's. Just that it would fund for future events. (Srl, and all the holiday stuff plus April "update") Does nobody on these forums listen?

1 RespuestaYup Added to the mute list for not being able to read

Yeah, artists and game developers should work for free. The satisfaction from making entertainment for people like OP should be enough. I know they're a business and all, but the money from Eververse should be enough to cover overhead and the salary for the business people who do real work.
Seriously, can these arguments just stop. If you want new content, it's going to cost money, just like literally everything else.
Throw the money at the screen

Most of the money grabs is probably dictated by Activision, everyone knows they are greedy as -blam!-ing hell. I'm sure the micro transactions where to help fund updates and any added content to the TTK expansion not a whole new expansion. But that's also probably why it will cost $30 and not $40 again.

5 RespuestasEditado por BlackndRanch: 6/10/2016 12:19:43 AMI just want the G-horn. I'm a Year 2 player, so I've never experienced its godliness.

2 RespuestasBungie has gotten pretty greedy. I mean, 5 bucks for one emote???? That's ridiculous....
-
3 RespuestasHey can you do some work for me i will pay you a one off fee of 100 dollars. But that covers all the work you will do for the next year?
-
1 RespuestaMicro transactions were not for DLC! You people need to learn how to read the updates....
-
2 RespuestasYou're paying the same amount as if you would buy it after release if you hadn't preordered it.
-
5 RespuestasSo you don't want Bungie to make money which equals less content?
-
1 RespuestaMicrotransactions fund the Live Team. They are responsible for: Festival of the Lost, Sparrow Racing League, Crimson Days and the April Update. I heard they've just recruited more staff so we should be seeing bigger Live Team updates from here on. The dev team at Bungie responsible for expansions and full games are funded by Activision directly.
-
You have the option to not spend the money. Remember that whilst you complain.
-
1 RespuestaTired of spending money? No one likes spending money, most are just mature enough the world isn't free
