It is rediculous that non-english or non-american people play this game and dont even bother to learn english.... Of all the problems I have with this post, this bit here made my teeth itch.

I think the thing most people are ignoring about this post is that he was using an app to find these players and they said that they spoke english. Regardless of the OP being a racist or not, the problem here is that the players found through the app lied about their spoken language. Personally, I wouldn't have tried to run a strike with that little time prior to work especially without a team I could communicate with given the intent to get both swords. But that's just me.

The game is available to foreigners in their native languages, what's ridiculous is to think they should be expected to learn English due to playing this game. Why shouldn't you be expected to then learn their language instead?

I think it would be nice to have an app that would add captions to your party chat ( obviously I realize it would be extremely difficult to make correctly especially when you have 3+ people all talking at once) but I think it would be nice to have and then you could switch to translate foreign languages and stuff........ I mean we are at the most technologically advanced time period in all of human history up to present day, yet language is still a barrier that divides most of the world. Maybe in a couple years when everyone is playing VR instead if consoles , someone will have created some kind of app to bypass the language barrier

4 RespuestasNot to bash you, but you could have used google translate to tell them you needed solar. They needed arc so if you just said you needed solar then you would have gotten both regardless. If you had a smart phone you could have had Google read the translation over the mic too.

1 RespuestaOddly enough the best fireteam I have workers with was foreign to me. This great British group took me under there wing to teach me how to do the raids and are truly great fun to play with. If you don't like the language of the fireteam you are with then simply leave. You aren't locked into anything and it is better for all involved to simply find a new team than to waste your time on a strike and then intentionally waste theirs. Instead of actually doing anything productive you instead chose to punish a team that you joined who were working towards a mutually beneficial goal.

Even though solar and arc is pretty easy to understand, they might not have understood it. After all they didn't know english as you said.
