First time on Destiny and...
So I played the division on the release. It was the first game of this shooter mmo style and the division really turned me off. Hesitantly I bought Destiny for the first time ever yesterday when a friend convinced me to. Was I shocked, not only did the game "feel" better but, the very first strike was such a great and challenging experince(way better than an "incursion". Even the members of the community sent me messages on xbox welcoming me to Destiny, I was surprised. The little content I completed in 2 hours on destiny was truly more enjoyable and more mechanics than any game I've recently played.

23 RespuestasWelcome! I think this calls for a little...initiation. Forgotten Shore. Cave on the left side as you come in. Set up camp in front of it and wait until a Level 8 Reaver Vandal spawns. The first few that spawn will be easy enough, but eventually there will be a very...special one. Let's just say he has a little more health than a Level 8. Have fun trying to take him down.

Welcome! Destiny is a great game at least for me there is always Something to do, always better stronger gear to get... it will get a little stagnant at times, but push through you'll find something fun to do.

I answer by saying: Can it turn into a grind-fest? Yes. That's the time to set your own goals and make your own fun. I like to do things such as: See just how many enemies I can kill on a patrol without firing a single shot; melee, grenades, & super only. Pick up a weapon (or weapon type) that I haven't used in a long time, just to see why I liked it in the first place. Try an activity or game mode that I haven't done in a while. I usually can't get everything done in the course of a week, even for just one character, much less all 3. Above all, now and then, TAKE A BREAK!! Don't feel obligated to play the game just to get one more piece of gear; there's always tomorrow/next week/next month for that. Better to play it while you're enjoying it, then, if you get bored with Destiny, do something else for a while and come back strong later. You're not competing with anyone else; there's no need to race to reach maximum Light level. You'll be much more relaxed and have more fun if you just take what the game gives and play for fun, instead of grimly striving to reach- what? 335 now? Yeah, 335. Who cares? It's a game. Well, I seem to have strayed a bit from the topic... still, no harm done. Welcome to the Tower, Guardian!

Yeah that lasts for about a month until you find yourself grinding the same old shit over and over trying to get a certain weapon that the player with the least kills in pvp or pve will get. When you reach that level then you will truly enjoy destiny for what it is. This game is awesome XD. The mechanics are really nice though so i guess thats ok
