First time on Destiny and...
So I played the division on the release. It was the first game of this shooter mmo style and the division really turned me off. Hesitantly I bought Destiny for the first time ever yesterday when a friend convinced me to. Was I shocked, not only did the game "feel" better but, the very first strike was such a great and challenging experince(way better than an "incursion". Even the members of the community sent me messages on xbox welcoming me to Destiny, I was surprised. The little content I completed in 2 hours on destiny was truly more enjoyable and more mechanics than any game I've recently played.

Yeah you'll fit in well lol. Destiny for game play and machanics. The Division for a proper detailed loot game. Why is it hard to see these two games appeal to different players.

hey welcome and dont worry if it takes a long time before you get an exotic i just got my first one and ive been playin for like almost 5 months doesnt seem long but youll reach lvl 40 quick dont expect exotics to be waiting for u

Welcome! If this is legit, amazing. If not, still going to respond. This games fun as hell. True year 2 has been a downward spiral yet this latest update has begun to improve things in a way. That being said, still fun which is why I still play. Ignore the trolls and negative responses. Play it some more and form your own conclusion. If you continue to enjoy it and are on PS4 let me know. I think the problem with us veterans is that the game keeps getting farther away from what is was originally, and not because of good changes. They are not necessarily bad changes, just changes. And we don't like that. The OP proves that Destiny isn't shit yet. I have hope for it. Plus, in Destiny 2 we will actually get a storyline. I promise you that.

Your not allowed to call it a good game, a lot of people on this forum dont seem to like it. Because destiny is awesome. These cry babies just arent very good at the game so they like to complain until Bungie nerfs all the weapons. So dont listen to them.

I honestly think the main thing that effects what you think of both games is whether you prefer First or Third person shooters. For me it's Third so I absolutely love everything about the Division however that doesn't mean that Destiny hasn't sunk it's claws into me and won't leave. Love Destiny and yearn for more and more "good" content.

I've only been playing Destiny for a few weeks but I've never seen a forum with this amount of whinging little bitches. Don't let the sweaty fat bastards on here put you off though. Destiny's great and I've had a blast with it so far. The only issue I've come across is my missus constantly having a go for never putting it down. Funny how I don't moan when she steps out the kitchen for five minutes though!

Destiny was truly good in year 1 and I suppose for a newcomer it looks good but you are only getting one third of the content that's worth playing in year 2

Welcome Guardian. You are in the honeymoon stage of Destiny and boy is it a good phase. Over time you will realise that Bungie/Activision are money grabbing whores but Destiny is a great game despite its flaws. I recommend that you avoid frequenting unless you have chips or popcorn that needs salt. Best of luck.

23 RespuestasWelcome! I think this calls for a little...initiation. Forgotten Shore. Cave on the left side as you come in. Set up camp in front of it and wait until a Level 8 Reaver Vandal spawns. The first few that spawn will be easy enough, but eventually there will be a very...special one. Let's just say he has a little more health than a Level 8. Have fun trying to take him down.
