Scenario:
I have 3 sterling treasure boxes that I earned in game.
I open them all and got a few items, but I'm still missing some items I really want.
I can continue to play the game next week for some more guaranteed boxes, for a chance at the items I want.
Or I can drop some silver at Eververse for a few boxes and try my luck.
OoOOo I got that awesome helmet I wanted! It's at 3 light though. Hmm.
I suppose I'll infuse this 320 helm that I already have laying around from participating in an in-game activity.
Please explain to me in your best words how is this "pay to win"?
Edit: It's been mentioned that the specific item you're infusing transfers over its stats/perks. If so, this should all but end the debate for saying this is a pay to win model. Confirm/deny?

Editado por Xero: 4/1/2016 12:43:21 PMThis is how far I've gone...trying to be as neutral as possible.
This is pay to play...literally
Here
Now don't get me wrong. The whole "unfair advantage" defense is understandable, but at the same time, it's all based on one's own speculation and definition of "unfair advantage" Definition of unfair:
Not based on or behaving according to the principles of equality and justice: Source
Definition of advantage:
A condition or circumstance that puts one in a favourable or superior position: Source
Do these items in question really put someone in an advantageous position? The answer is no. Is it unfair? That's left to public opinion and speculation...even then, there's not really any logic to it. Simply because...
Bungie will do what is in the best interest for the company and player base, based on constructive, relevant, feedback given. It is their company. We, the players, will purchase and play games that is at our best interest as well.
Now in the end, you may just not agree with the methods done. Myself? It doesn't matter to me. I'll buy it if I find it interesting. The end. Knowing the money spent, if it is spent, goes to them and might fund something down the road? Or just simply fund the workers? That is fine with me. No one knows the future of gaming, or even this game in particular. Even if you call it, so what? You want a medal? Lol?
Here
In a nutshell, just play the game and stop playing it when it doesn't suit you. Your support, or lack thereof, will speak to Bungie either way.
Never really know if this gets through...
