Fusion Rifle PVPers...if you exist
What would you suggest in the crucible? I got the new IB fusion and I'm considering replacing my soon to be useless shotguns with it. Any advice when using them will be appreciated as well!

I was going nuts with the IB fusion rifle yesterday on some of the smaller maps in Iron Banner. I was having more fun disintegrating people with that thing than I have in a long time. After a few matches everyone was switching to fusions but still couldn't keep up. I would just let people come to me then ZAP! Any other strat or advice would be appreciated!

Check out the vortex I have equipped on my hunter. Reflex sight with hidden hand, hand laid stock, and Icarus. Icarus is unique but niche, but reflex/hidden hand/high base aim assist has me excited to give it a try. Decent charge rate too.

You're smart, I'm doing the same. For me the IB fusion and the split shifter pro. The perk roll on some help a little, but anything w accelerated coils gets my pick. I can't wait for the nerf to see fusions shine

Thesan fr 4. Seriously use it and you'll never go back to another fusion. Tightest spread I've ever seen on any fusion rifle with damn near max impact and stability. It's essentially a long range shotgun

I love FR's! You might have to get used to the charge time, but from there, it's just point and shoot! I find Fusion Rifles still viable if you pick your engagements correctly.

The dark blade's spite. The impact is incredible, and if used on vertigo, can be proved deadly

Purifier VII! This bad boy is for standard Crucible, but what a beast! It's range is ungodly and the burst damage almost kills instantly.

Preatorian Foil, Plan C, new trials fusion. Vanilla final rest with range finder and accelerated coils.. It was awesome!

My ib fusion has runner, coils, and rangefinder. If your in a fireteam it pairs well with a friend using an auto rifle.

Thesan FR4. Its actually a sniper with the right rolls.

IB one is good, as is trials. So is Phanta Rae (sp?) But the best by miles in my view is telesto. Takes getting used to but there is nothing better than killing a smug sniper who is hiding behind a corner by shooting the pellets at their feet and watching the explosion take them down. Plus it effectively does splash damage and double kills give orbs ... With the upcoming changes you really want one with good range for PvP. Not sure where all the above sit on that scale in fairness. Trick is just for whichever one you use get used to the optimal kill range and charge time.

I got the IB one on my warlock and it's got a great roll on it. I've had a lot of fun using it so far and I'm pretty excited for the December update.

Plug 1 was the best. Fusion rifles before patch 1 were very powerful. Just have fun with it. I use fusions because they are fun. I switch to shotgun when I have to. Thesan fr4 with accelerated coils is good. Telesto works great too. I generally go for fast recharge rate fusions for crucible.
