Dumbest reason you had to repeat a nightfall?
Mine would be when i used blink to try teleport through a minotaur(like the scene in the destiny live action trailer where the hunger kills that cabal), and managed to teleport right in front of a minotaur then he bitch slapped me ... while trying to avoid him. -_-

Another reason in had to repeat a nightfall is when i didn't know u had to repeat it when everyone died :p

Last week i was soloing the archon priest. I was using the ledge method on the left side before you drop down into the room. I pretty much messed him up with an ice breaker and hunger of crota. Should have been using gjaarhorn maybe. Anyway after i dropped all my rockets and about 8 ice breaker shots into him he had no yellow left on his health. A kinnetic weapon could have killed him. But of course some turd down below had thrown a grenade beside me and forced me to drop down. All the burns were active that week so one hit death from anything. I dont know why or how, but when i dropped down i landed on the side of a rock. After landing on it i got thrown 200 miles per hour straight off the cliff where the archon priest spawns. Apparently i had a missadventure. I should have known those rocks on venus were reverse magnets.

Phogoth, very low hp, thought I'd ignore the Knights camped outside and finish her off with arcblade. She died...Knights then killed me before their despawn.

I fought all the way thru a nitefall, only to be rewarded with nothing because i was signed on during the reset. so i had to start over. that was the worst.

My dumbest reason is beyond dumb and actually involves a dumb person. So I was simply going to solo valus t aurc, my friend joined up which I appreciated since I kept getting disconnected so he could save my progress. We get to valus and his other friend joins in without a Mic, we get valus to about a quarter health left then both him and my friend die so I tell them to leave and come back (cheesy I know) but little did we know my friend wasn't party leader, the guy with no Mic was. So no Mic goes to leave and we both see the countdown for him taking us to orbit. We are screaming stop! No! Your taking us to orbit! But to no avail we are taken to orbit and have to restart the whole nightfall. I guess the good thing is that for our struggle I received a Hawkmoon from it 😊

Tonight with my level 29 mate. Got to the ledge before nexus. Told him to wait while I go for a pee and a smoke. Told him do not shoot anything else the Minotaur will spawn and wreck us. Got a text, "a random has joined" Get back in just in time to witness the wipe after someone from my friends list had joined and started shooting things like a divvy. Random came and left in about 2 mins leaving me and my mate to start over. What a dick. Promptly changed to invite only. I was well pissed off 😠

Killed Phogoth as the team wiped. Countdown begins, and with one second left we all get revived! Relieved we go to the results screen only to see no drops.

2 RespuestasMy friend and I LFG'ed a random on the Omnigul nightfall about 2 months back. The LFG guy drops from Destiny but is still in our party channel so he asks us to wait for him to reconnect and we comply. We leave Omnigul with about 3% health and as soon as he connects back my system starts to say 'contacting Destiny Servers'. The random goes in and kills Omnigul and I proceed to lag out and not get rewarded. Oh.. and one other time, because I didn't log out and log back in after reset, DUH. Lessons learned.

2 RespuestasWas helping my friends secondary run it and I died but luckily I put up a buble, then my friends dies IN THE BUBLE, then some random guy helping us dies by an invisible vandal trying to get down to us.. urggggg

1 RespuestaOne time I was doing nightfall and my friend joins, okay, cool, help... He goes invisible all the way to the boss and dies, causing the game to send us to orbit -_- Nobody has to guess who got deleted that day.

Forgot that enraged goblins ignore invisibility. Tried to revive someone. That minotaur didn't care and gunned down my invisible self in cold blood.

I was using my Sunsinger on Phogoth. I was soloing and sniping from the front room. I ran out of special ammo and seeing some at the door, I popped out to grab it. There to meet me was a thrall with lightswitch. Instant death. No problem. I'll just self rez. Before my fiery feet even touched the ground, that thral punched me again and one hit killed me before I could even move.

2 RespuestasMy situation happened after I had just bought Icebreaker from Xur after a long wait. The nightfall that week was Septis (however you spell it) and I decided to do the nightfall for the ever time ever. Not only was it my first time soloing the nightfall, it was my first time do the nightfall in general. Icebreaker tore through everyone and I get to Septis and camp in the room in the back left. A dreg from the lower level kills me with a grenade I didn't notice because I was scoped in with icebreaker. Luckily I'm a warlock and self revived. After that, I kill the enemies on the lower level and I go back up to kill Septis. He's down to about a fifth of his health and he teleports near the window. I'm so eager to finish him off, I step outside to keep hitting him without my super fully charged. I never knew servitors had a close range pulse attack.... I rage quit and played FIFA.

Archon priest almost dead bubble with weapons was ready we were dealing good damage going for the finish then a ships skiff turret kills all 3 of us in 2 blows... All lvl 31 and up to...

We were helping a kid get through... He was a 27 hunter... My son got KTO told the kid to to stay safe... I got killed and kid runs out in middle of group to revive me... One shotted... Dang it... Done!
