Greetings, guardians. I don't post on this forum much, I tend to just lurk. But I can't help but notice how toxic the atmosphere has become. And granted, there are many legitimate criticisms:
- There is a serious lack of endgame content.
- Bungie's public relations have been spotty at best, and utterly dismissive at worst.
- Bungie has ignored bugs, horrendous Crucible lag and more.
All valid concerns. However, I'm willing to bet that everyone here has gotten a tremendous amount of value for their ~$80. I'll admit, I would never have played this much if not for a close circle of friends to play with. But on that level, the game has succeeded: despite its limitations, it is, at its best moments, an excellent social game.
This game is more or less an MMO in many of its designs. And, like most MMOs, you take breaks. You unsubscribe, wait, come back for the next expansion, maybe not. We have a lot of great games coming out in 2015. To paraphrase Blizzard, the game isn't an iron lung. You can disconnect from it and live, and if it feels like work, you should.
And if House of Wolves strikes your fancy, well, we'll see you when you get back, guardian.

There isn't much creativity when it comes to events he queens wrath is coming back in HoW. But other events would be nice for a change getting unique weapons gear that is not in the vendor and no re-skins either.

They can do other things than just release dlc. Community events. New vanguard bounties. God forbid some free content. If you want to make the mmo comparison.
-
No I'd rather complain about playing the game when no one is forcing me to play it.
-
or quit this garbage and forget about bounty chores you've been doing for over 4 months.
