15617 Scout rifle kills, 12089 using MIDA; MIDA for life (OP)...
I used MIDA heavily during my early days of Destiny and through most raids I did, and it was a good scout rifle and most of all: Fun to use and had good quality of life...
But now it has that AND staggers enemies in PvE like it's nobody's -blam!-ing business, did the daily, heavily staggered level 30 acolyte ultras in ONE headshot... And after about 4 headshots to a level 30 knight ultra I could keep him staggered CONSTANTLY up until his death; and the EXACT sane thing with a level 30 ogre ultra... This thing is a beast in PvE and in my opinion heavily under-rated, I didn't use it much for like 3 or 4 months until 3 days ago and damn it's a beast in PvE, it's decent in PvP too btw.
Even after not using it for ages it is still my most used weapon by a factor of TWO, and from now on that will only grow.
MIDA Multi-tool master race![spoiler]It is actually really decent, I wouldn't be surprised if it couod stagger boomers or swordbearer on crota's end, it also dishes out great DPS, not the highest but REALLY sustained[/spoiler]
EDIT: Seems like the MIDA is like marmite, you love it or hate it... (seems like some of the people who hate it seem to be brainless elitists saying if you're not 32 your opinion doesn't count... Give me a proper reason and I'll be reasonable)
EDIT: Majors not ultras but it does stun ultras about the same amount
ANOTHER NITC (jk it's another Edit): The people who rip on MIDA seem to have low accuracy with it and often below even 300kills, I guess it just takes a certain type of user to realise its value

I love my scout rifles: 37609 kills and counting, wouldn't have it any other way!

It does stagger the swordbearer. I use mida all the time love it

1 RespuestaThis thing is joy to use when running strikes. The movement speed/agility with the stagger make it so that you can finish a strike in record time.

Very underated weapon. Used quite a bit in pvp and it ripa faces off! Those who say it's bad either haven't got it or haven't upgraded it. It has a very different feel to other scouts which is why i think i like it so much.

Its just missing something for me. I like it and the staggers great so is the accuracy and speed buff but feels like it lacks a bit of punch . Was disappointed hair trigger came with a capped rof kinda makes it pointless

I used to love scouts, then I discovered the regulator mk 56 and fell in love with hand cannons. I have almost 25k kill, about 4k is thorn, with about 14700 head shots, (59%) hand cannon master race

MIDA was my first primary exotic and is by far my favorite weapon in the game even if it is a jack of all trades and master of none. That buff made it tremendously better. The ability to stagger enemies with ease is just awesome to me and the soft tap tap tap sound it makes when fired makes me feel like I'm spec ops using a silenced weapon. I agree with the OP. I haven't checked my stats but I know MIDA has a decent amount of kills attributed to it.

The majority of people who don't like it are one not primarily scout rifle users and two never take the time to level it up. I will admit prior to the last exotic weapons buff it was on and off in PvE, but now the ability to stagger enemies is awsome!

Running through the Lamps is a blast with it. Hits like a hammer and has the Recoil of a BB Gun. I just wish it didn't take an exotic slot.
