Well that's the theory anyway, right? I also remember the first VoG group saying MM would never work and that the raid is near impossible and takes an elite team of six dedicated individuals. Within a month two people finished the raid within 90 minutes and a group cleared the raid in a half hour. People will learn. People can figure things out. That's why there are new cheeses every night that Bungie is unable to stop. And even doing one portion of the raid is more than the opportunity for the majority of people out there. Give people a chance. I mean I could say you could never beat the raid and then you would never have a chance to even play the raid and I would be just as right as you are now right? Everyone deserves an opportunity.

Thing is, people who want to play the raid take the initiative to jump on the forums and spend the time (10minutes) to look for a good group. As soon as you put in match making, anyone from level 23-27 would join in and not have a clue what they're doing. You got to remember most of the playerbase never ever even jumped on these forums. So the people you are getting in the raid right now which we would consider random is far from the truth.

Thing is, I want to do the raid but I don't want to spend thirty minutes to an hour being rejected because I've never done the raid before. I'm an outcast and I don't want to bring a group of people down with me. Because I didn't do the raid the first week I'm a GD leper. Now if there was a raid finder or MM myself and everyone else could learn how to do the raid at their own pace. Anybody who is super serious about the raid can still go to their computer to w/e lfg site and find those people. Those who just want to play it like me will finally have a chance. And yeah, just last week it took 20 some minutes to find one other person to do the weekly with me on destinylfg. Never found a third. And I play on PS4 and it was like 9:30-10 CST. I made a complaint thread ten minutes into waiting. I want to play Destiny, I do not want to sit in orbit forever. "Ten minutes" my ass. Also, I'm pretty sure you can only be two levels below the appropriate level otherwise you can't participate in any given game. Not only that but they could just as easily remove that ability from just the matchmaking aspect of the raids. Simply make the recommended level a requirement for that raid MM option. And frankly, levels 21-25 don't even exist anymore since the level cap was raised. People are stuck on those levels for less than two days. A full suit of unleveled gear gets you to like 26 before you even do anything. You don't even have to complete the raid. Just being able to do part of the raid can be a rewarding experience but that option isn't available either. And would it hurt you that raid MM or raid finer were to exist? No? Then why are you against it? Elitism or sadism? Those are the only two reasons that even make sense and they're hardly valid reasons.
