Just read the Bungie update. A whole piece on this Heavy Ammo problem. Did this really bother you?
I didn't realise it bothered so many people that this was the major piece on the Bungie update. To be honest I can't say it was really an issue for me to even notice lol.
Give me your thoughts. Was this something that was at the top of your priority? I would of thought there were more major issues.
EDIT: A lot of interesting feedback. Basically those who raid often are bothered more so. There are also quite a number of those who thought it was just a natural mechanic penalty.

I thought that's how the game works

This is a horrible bug

6 RespuestasYou hardly raid (39 total) so it wouldn't bother you.

The biggest problem I had with it was at lower levels when I would struggle to do a mission. It made no sense when I died it spawned me with less ammo. If I am struggling to beat a boss why would you make it harder by spawning me with less ammo? As far as raiding goes it really sucks when you do well but a minor hiccup causes a wipe. You see purple ammo everywhere so you gather as much as you can before you die just to lose 2 or 3. Nowadays there are new ways to gather heavy ammo (the glitch to where you expend all of your ammo), but that will eventually be patched, probably long before any actual bugs get fixed. I am just happy to see them say more than "We are aware of the issue and looking into it."

When a bug is around for this long you just take it as a mechanic of the game. Doesn't mean you have to like it though. Wiping due to stupid reasons just drains your heavy ammo.
-
Yes very much

Well the need for tons of heavy ammo to clear the hard raid has cost us lots of glimmer and time to acquire more glimmer. Losing heavy ammo for no reason is just a kick in the balls. That being said the Heavy ammo glitch allows us to get free heavy now and we have used it to our advantage until a real fix is implemented. If Xur isn't selling Heavy we will continue to exploit the glitch and get heavy ammo for free.

Its annoying but i try to play around it. Not like we didn't know it was there

12 RespuestasKnow how I know you don't raid? The heavy ammo big appears on raid legs and a few exotics. To pop a heavy...then wipe and loose 2-3 heavy ammo is frustrating. you want to go into an attempt at your best, and this bug slowly robs more and more of that. Then there's how many extra synthesis you go through and the fact that picking up heavy ammo before a wipe is generally a waste of time. Anyone that raids with the intention of winning will use a heavy synthesis. If you raid without coming prepared, you shouldn't be there(excluding the heavy ammo drop on every kill people)

Tbh idgaf. People leaning on heavy ammo is just dumb. Who cares if you're penalized and it gets taken. Idk. Idc.

Last few raids, I've started swapping out heavy ammo boosting leg armor when I know I am about to die, like to the Oversoul or a voluntary wipe.

It's annoying when Xûr doesn't sell synth, with Crota glitching, swords disappearing there's a lot of wipes and a lot of heavy disappearing. People are resorting to glitching heavy drops. That doesn't bother me. Bungie taking forever to fix shit is. Performing like this as a company in another industry would kill your client base

Editado por deepfries: 1/31/2015 1:42:39 AMGotta say I thought it was just the way they intended it. Penalty for dying: gonna take some of your heavy. Not all of it, just some. You can even keep your last one no matter what! Definitely not the worst part of the game. And there's an easy solution too! Don't die as much.

1 RespuestaIt's been affecting me more the past week. I leave a patrol with 7 rockets.. Start up the next day...0 rockets.
-
It's mildly annoying but I look at it more as a "oops you died -1 ammo now"
-
damn right it did! it still does!
-
I don't care because I think it should happen
-
Yes, yes it did
