Just read the Bungie update. A whole piece on this Heavy Ammo problem. Did this really bother you?
I didn't realise it bothered so many people that this was the major piece on the Bungie update. To be honest I can't say it was really an issue for me to even notice lol.
Give me your thoughts. Was this something that was at the top of your priority? I would of thought there were more major issues.
EDIT: A lot of interesting feedback. Basically those who raid often are bothered more so. There are also quite a number of those who thought it was just a natural mechanic penalty.

Yeah this bug was insane. When you are playing a story and you have 7 rockets, you die then everything resets, except your ammo, now you have no heavy and you are in a shitty a spot. Raids when you pop a heavy then die and reapawn with less rockets, this is my #2 biggest annoyance behind the vault.
-
Now that I realize it's a bug hell yeah it bothers me. I though losing heavy ammo was just the price you had a pay for dying. Can you imagine how easy things will be if you didn't lose heavy ammo every time you die? If you're fighting Crota you can just kill enemies for heavy ammo and just wipe when your team has full ammo. Can't wait for it to be fixed

5 RespuestasI honestly thought it was intended. No joking around. I always hate it but truly thought it was meant to happen
-
2 RespuestasI never thought it was a bug.. I just thought you were punished for dying, makes sense right?
-
Yes. Really annoying to pop a synth and hear; Guardian down 10 seconds later. Followed by a "let's wipe". And lose a chunck of my rocket ammo.

1 RespuestaEditado por XMalakhX: 1/31/2015 2:17:21 AMMe, no. Some other people yes. Once it became a big forum thing then EVERYBODY started complaining about it. Before that it was accepted. I personally thought that was just how it was. Penalties for death are a part of some games.
-
Editado por Enzan: 1/31/2015 3:01:09 AMI literally spent 20+ extra minutes on the Nightfall(Solo) because I used 4 Heavy Ammo Synthesis that gave me nothing. That bothers me, not so much with losing a round or two per death.
-
I thought it was a feature, a punishment for death, and had no complaints. I actually thought it was fair. Didn't realize it was a bug.
-
Of course it did. It is one of the most annoying things in this game. Yes I 100% mean that. Especially now that heavy is so important in crota hard mode. There is not a single thing more annoying in the raid, then popping a heavy synth, then 30 seconds later some moron from my random team kills himself somehow and causes a wipe. With 7 heavy ammo, that's 3 heavy ammo lost straight up. You tell me that wouldn't bother you?
-
3 RespuestasThe inventory bug (when the synth doesnt count because you are carrying around too much) is way worse. That bug has prevented me from buying ammo from Xur, with the vault being full I have no place to store it.
-
Not really as I always assumed it was intentional. Also just don't die
-
-
2 RespuestasI never actually thought this was a bug just thought thats a punishment mechanic. Annoying but manageable.
-
3 RespuestasEditado por Gytanzo: 1/31/2015 2:56:14 AMI thought it was an actual feature of the game. It is kinda annoying, but that's just because I notice it more now.
-
Seriously? Popping a heavy synth right before a wipe in either raid and then losing all your heavy didn't bother you?
-
If I were to add up all the heavy ammo iv lost because of a glitch, I wouldn't have to buy it for a very long time.
-
I absolutely hated it. I didnt know it was a bug but i hated it
-
It's was a huge deal. I must have lost over a thousand rounds of heavy in VOG and CE. One of the biggest game effecting bugs in the game.
-
For the people who say that it should be intended, please remember that you lost heavy ammo on cutscenes, going to orbit, going to the tower, etc. if it was only on death and it happened to everyone (not just those with Carry More Heavy ammo perk) then I think people would be alright with it. Most people anyway.

Editado por AgedEmu: 1/31/2015 2:55:11 AMIt is a crazy huge burden.
-
Didnt even think of it as a glitch. Honestly I just figured when we died we lost whatever rounds were in the current clip/mag/box/chamber just cause we kept the rest of the ammo in our armor... or something... honestly its a video game so I didnt even think about it at all aha
-
Yes of course
-
Only on crota it did
-
Yes, so annoying!
-
Yes, drives me crazy
-
Yes, it does bother me.
