Just read the Bungie update. A whole piece on this Heavy Ammo problem. Did this really bother you?
I didn't realise it bothered so many people that this was the major piece on the Bungie update. To be honest I can't say it was really an issue for me to even notice lol.
Give me your thoughts. Was this something that was at the top of your priority? I would of thought there were more major issues.
EDIT: A lot of interesting feedback. Basically those who raid often are bothered more so. There are also quite a number of those who thought it was just a natural mechanic penalty.

Now that I know it's a bug I guess it kinda bothers me... I honestly just thought it was part of the game.

1 RespuestaWhat someone said below hit a note with me. So they know the problem occurs and are fixing it great. Why not each week until it's fixed Xur sells the ammo synth? That way the problem is somewhat negated
-
Yeah it bothers me immensely
-
1 RespuestaI guess someone with 2 level 30's doesnt know hoe much heavy you need when playing raids. More for crota's end.
-
3 RespuestasITS A HUGE DEAL, I ALMOST STABBED MYSELF BECAUSE OF THIS BULLSHIT, SEE THAT BUNGIE? YOU KILL PEOPLE, MY DAD WORKS FOR MICROSOFT HE WILL SHUT YOU DOWN.
-
Not so much with rockets, bothers me with machine guns.
-
1 RespuestaNot really. After all it's just a game.
-
It annoys me
-
It bothers me a lot
-
A lot actually. I would use a synth and then we would have to wipe because to many people died and I would lose two rockets.
-
To be honest. As someone who raids... ALOT, it doesnt lol
-
Why wouldn't this bother everyone? It's annoying as hell to lose heavy ammo for no reason, regardless if you're raiding, patrolling or whatever.
-
1 RespuestaYes, heavy ammo synths have a cooldown. Nothing worse than popping one when you're out of rockets just to have crota turn the swordbearer into paste and make you lose 1/3 of your rockets you just burned a synth to get. It's not terribly noticeable until you get to a point where you must use rockets and use a lot of them. It gets more irritating the longer you have it occur.

Editado por SLATE: 1/31/2015 2:50:49 PMIt's extremely annoying if you raid a lot and don't like to glimmer farm
-
10 RespuestasI thought it was meant to be. It made sense when you DIE you'll loose some ammo
-
2 RespuestasEditado por Barrier: 1/31/2015 4:41:07 PMIt's a big deal but there are other things they could've focused on. The bugs in both raids are worse than losing a couple rockets
-
Yup, biggest issue in the game for serious raid teams.
-
Yes, it is a huge problem and extremely annoying.
-
1 Respuestatried doing the whole crota raid monday and kept trying to use heavy ammo synths whilst alive and they never worked.
-
2 RespuestasWhy when I use heavy ammo synth, or any synth for that matter, I'd say about 60% of the time it just flat out doesn't work. I press start, hold "x" to use a synthesis, check my weapon, it has the same amount of ammo as before, and my synthesis is still on cool down.
-
-
Never even noticed it. Lol
-
Yeah it annoyed me. Glad it's getting fixed.
-
Honestly, I thought it was a bugged penalty mechanic, given that it makes sense you lose SOME ammo upon death if you have increased carrying capacity for that specific type of ammo. It was reasonable for me. However, losing ammo from going to orbit or a stupid cutscene that I can't even skip, now that's just plain ridiculous. I thought THAT was the bug. I'm actually fine with losing ammo from dying, forces you to be careful and not mess up, but I refuse to give away precious purple just because the Stranger likes to step on that Vex. It wasn't a problem before the DLC because I liked the Iron Banner boots better than the VoG ones, so I used those. But this time we are all back to looking like the exact same snowflake, how unique. Anyway, bit of a rant, but you get the point. Also, it's not just heavy ammo, it happens to ANY type of ammo that you have increased carrying capacity for.
-
if you raid a lot its a huge huge huge deal. if you don't it isn't such a problem.
-
It only really bothered me in the raid so if you don't raid often then that may be why you don't notice it as much, although I'd rather xur sell heavy ammo synthesis again then them fixing the glitch.
