The Ultimate Exotics
Including the PS exclusives, what exotic rules each weapon type?
Here's my list
[b]Handcannons[/b] - Hawkmoon (most power)
[b]Auto rifle[/b] - SUROS regime (with the Monte Carlo a close second)
[b]Scout rifle[/b] - mida (I think it's the only one)
[b]Pulse rifle[/b] - red death (more utility)
[b]Sniper[/b] - icebreaker (more utility)
[b]Fusion rifle[/b] - pocket infinity (removes the fear of missing)
[b]Shotgun[/b] - invective (best of a bad bunch to be honest)
[b]LMG[/b] - Thunderlord (just great)
[b]Rockets[/b] - Gjallarhorn (everyone knows why)
What do you think? Would you put anything different? Feel free to tell me
Edit : I haven't put the vex in as its reportedly not going to get an upgrade and this is for both PVE and PVP. Thorn and the last word didn't win as they're both mostly best for PVP. Thus they suffer from the same issue.
Edit : please be aware that this is my own preference and not a definitive list.

[b]LMG[/b] - Super Good Advice (high RoF, low recoil means LOTS of headshots) [b]Rockets[/b] - Gjallarhorn (boss killer, Truth is PvP and DB is pure crowd control)

1 RespuestaFor pulse rifle I'd say Bad Juju. Gets seriously op with a steady shot. It's already fantastic in crucible, after the buff it'll most likely be the try hard weapon when everyone realizes.

Hawkmoon, thorn, and the last word are all pretty even in my opinion and better than most exotics in the game. They each have their different utilities.

1 RespuestaHand Cannon, all 3 are good, pretty much situational tho plus fate bringer gets an honorable mention Auto Rifle, also falls into the realm of situational, Contrary to popular belief Hard Light and Monte Carlo beat Suros in most situations if you know how to use them. Pulse Rifle, I'd have to give this one to Bad JuJu, it's a solid pulse rifle that's fully out and never runs out of ammo if used properly, not to mention it helps build super faster. Red Death is meh, only thing good is the health regen perk that's kinda void when certain pieces of armor are equipped bc they also have the perk. Scout rifle, Mida easily bc there's only one exotic in game the other two aren't obtainable yet. But a close second is a legendary that's rare as the shadow price. I've seen few people with either Another NITC that had explosive rounds, armor piercing rounds, high caliber rounds, and firefly. It's OP AF Shotgun, This category goes to Fourth Horsemen, it's a one shot kill in most case, they just gotta get the perks right, invective is a close second and universal remote is meh. Fusion Rifle, Vex is the undisputed champion in this category, nuff said Sniper Rifle, this category could go to a lot of different weapons but I think the top contenders are Black Hammer and Icebreaker, personally I feel like this is also situational, Rocket Launcher, One launcher to rule them all, one launcher to find them and in the darkness bind them, or something along those lines lol Ghjallahorn nuff said Machine Gun, I'd give this to one of two, either Thunderlord or Corrective Meassure, another situational category Well that's all boys and girls lol

18 RespuestasHard Light does way more damage than either SUROS or Monte Carlo. People just don't understand that it's an SMG, really. The general thing I hear is, "I used it for a minute, then dismantled it." That's like using Gjallarhorn for a bit and then dismantling it, because (without upgrading) it's, "just like a normal rocket launcher."

4 RespuestasSuros is what I would consider a perfect auto rifle in terms of damage potential. I want to see how fate of all fools plays out before I rate it over mida. I love the thorn. Would like the hawk moon too if I could use it. Red death is my favorite pulse rifle. Icebreaker ftw all day every day. Universal remote would probably beat out invective. I've found myself really liking plan c since i started using it. Thunderlord is sexy. Anyone who says otherwise is a heretic and should be burned the stake. Dragons breath would be my choice if the ghorn did not consistently top everyone's list.

2 RespuestasPlan C over Pocket Infinity any day. Amazing range, charge time and it hits like a truck. Also I could never think of a situation where I'd use PI over Icebreaker, Mythoclast etc.
