I know these types of posts get a lot of butthurt replies, but honestly after the hundreds of hours that you all put into this game are you not a little disappointed? I love playing this game, but I'm tired of it feeling like work. It's like everyday I'll get on and just sigh after I pick up my bounties and go back to orbit. Props to bungie for keeping my interest with so little to do, but I'm looking forward to the next big games.
Personally I think the majority of players will decrease significantly after HoW's drops. Many of us bought everything together and really have no choice but to play on. Personally I'll play HoW, do the raid and all that jazz, but after that I will not be preordering anything else from this game. What's the point? As of now I get more enjoyment from these forums than playing the actual game. Sorry if you peeps disagree.
Still crazy how much time I put into this game compared to others in the past.
Edit: I've really loved the replies. Glad I'm not the only one.

I feel ya, Ive lost my drive for the game a week ago. And ive barely even played. Only lvl 30. Got bf4 and I'm satisfied.

3 RespuestasEvery game has a shelf life . You might have just found Destiny's. I haven't yet . Nowhere near. Any game that makes me actually go out and get a console after 14 years of not owning one must be good. The last game to do that was Football Manager . I went out and got a PC just for that game. That was nearly 20 years ago and I still play it every year.

Im still addicted to th game but it really needs the sort of content Comet will bring which seems such a long way off really... HOW looks like another CE small DLC with little in the way of new places to visit..
-
Just the other day I was telling someone that Destiny feels like work. Its so true. I sigh more with destiny than I do with my actual job.
-
Yeah I got the word of crota and now I'm like, I don't have anything else to do in this game. I got all I wanted in the game. And cruicble is fun but a lot of people lag a lot. That's why I'm just waiting for house of wolves but in the meantime playing dragon age and I'm gone to get dying light

4 RespuestasThe only time I feel stressed or bothered by Destiny is with raiding. I enjoy doing it, that's not the problem. The problem is finding a team and finding players who are friendly. I have been lucky to raid with some very cool people, but sometimes I am trying for days to get into a raid. When you happen to get into a raid group with those nerds who take everything too serious that is where the stress comes. You feel like if you mess up you will get kicked.
-
Same here, I will come back to destiny for House of wolves though, better be good, if not i'm done :)
-
I'm with you. The only thing for me to do is nightfalls and raid. Finding a decent team for hard Crota is crazy hard. Currently missing red death and necrocasm. I could level a warlock and Titan. But whatever... Not worth the time. Hunter master race, jk.

1 RespuestaThat's why I had to pick up another game to take a break. Picked up Unity and finished it as the time Hard drops and man was the break a breather. Question is how long till HoW drops and if it's enough for the Comet drop.
-
I'm waiting for The Division just killing time on Destiny, it's ok just not as great i once thought it would be.

1 RespuestaYea im probably done after house of wolves. Especially if it has the same amount of content that the dark below had. After I hit 32 in a week or so in probably going to barely play until how releases. It was fun, now it's just too repetitive
-
It's slipping away. Slowly, but it is.

2 RespuestasI logged on tonight, got my bounties, sighed and got to work. That is what it feels like, a job. Re-leveling my favorite exotics is taking forever, I'm hating replaying story missions, and the next stupid little -blam!- that runs me over with a sparrow might be the trigger that makes me quit this game. There really are no new experiences, everyday feels like Groundhog Day. Over, and over, and over....
-
Same here, won't be purchasing any more content after house of wolves.
-
I too have lost interest. Now it's more of an addition thing, being afraid to miss out on a drop for weapons I still need like GjallarWhorn.

The game is beginning to feel exhausting. I think I feel it primarily when I finish up doing Crota raids for the week. That's where I am having fun now. But that stuff is done in about two hours. Then what? I love Vault of Glass, but don't have a solid group of friends to run it fast. They are all on XBox One. If I could take my character to the One (no good reason why I shouldn't be able to, GTA V does this), I might buy an extra copy. But for entirely unknown reasons they won't allow this. It isn't a MS/Sony thing, GTA allows it. I have all weapons from VoG, I'd run it still for the challenge. But my only option is LFG, amd frankly, that has turned into painful 4 hour episodes in the past trying to play with some who don't have a clue. I do the nightfalls and weeklys not because it is fun to do the strikes, but because they are quick to complete and can turn into something nice. They never do though. I gave up on dailies. Cus why? I am slowing down on bounties. I might do more if some weren't stupid harder/time consuming than others. There's no real balancing. And doing the Patrols really just serves as a reminder that this is a dead world, a skeleton of what was promised. It has been fun but it has gotten old. And when I am done with Crota for the week, I'm really struggling to enjoy what else there is to come.

I don't play this game enough to be bored of it yet.

This game sucks ass just quit is sold this shit game for $15 it was worth every penny

3 RespuestasAfter HoW there is no more Destiny. It's not my destiny to play Destiny. But PvP is fun. If they had some more tasks to do like Eris Urn run and the exotic bounties, the game could be great. It's better to know what for you grind your ass of instead of wasting time for no reward or 'rare' engrams.
-
Editado por Rōnin: 1/25/2015 3:24:15 PMI think comes down to this for me: 1. Grinding the same two Raids and always failing to get the only gear left in the Raids I need/want while seeing other people who get that gear for the third or fourth time is not fun. 2. Playing the same bounties over and over again to up my reputation for a Dead Orbit package that contains nothing but a Mote of Light and 2 Ascendant Energy is not fun. It's high-grind, sometimes high-risk, and time consuming with little to no reward. That's the most frustrating part of the "end game" for me. Achievements would make end game a lot more fun if there were a ton to work toward to add variety and challenges while working toward your last few pieces of gear.

2 RespuestasDestiny is like that episode of southpark - heroine hero. Keep chasing the purple dragon.
-
You aren't the only one.
-
Interest is long gone. The expansion did it. As a casual gamer, I believe it was trash due to lazy programming or rushed programming. In March when PGA Tour 15 comes out, bye bye destiny. PS - The only reason I am playing Destiny is because it came with the Play Station.
-
Ur not. I beat crota as sword three times two nights ago. Didnt get one scout or hand cannon. And bounties to upgrade weapons are starting to seriously give me panic attacks whilst doing them. Im getting really tired of this. If anybody actually deserves the nechrocasm its me. Or any of the other sword holders but the scrubbiesr scrubs will get it. And im just for real getting tired of this too. I hear u OP
-
If you're tired of it, just stop.
geez
2 RespuestasTake a break bro. I hardly played for all of December and when I came back it was like it was brand new again!
