Do pulse rifles need a buff?
I never really see anyone using a pulse rifle, I like them personally, I just don't see a reason to use one over a hand cannon or scout, what do you guys think?
Edit 1: 256 people think pulse rifles need a buff, cmon bungie make it happen!
Edit 2: wow guys almost 1000 people agree with me, let's make this thread heard by bungie !

The problem with pulse rifles is that they're implemented in a way that makes them the middle ground between Autos & Scouts. That means they're meant to be fast firing precision weapons but they can't do either job very well. I'd say either scrap them completely and give Auto Rifles Bullpup designs or Buff the precision damage on head shots. Shot 2 3 round bursts into a guys head and he still lived! So I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking Pulse rifles needed a small buff.

Deff need a buff. Mostly stability. Lee the stability on the high impact ones the same, chest-to-head is how they work. Make the low impacts like the BR, high stability, tight grouping over range

They need mag size and inventory increase for PvE. I would say double the inventory for the low impact type and maybe a 1.5x for the high impact types. I have the coil hiss 1919. I want to like this gun so badly but it only has 10 pulls of the trigger before you have to reload and it takes 2+ pulls of the trigger in order to kill a same level trash mob. Side note: the 1919 is great in pvp.

I've wondered why they haven't buffed them yet . Only gun class that feel overwhelmingly Underpowered, even after auto rifle nerfs.

Pulse rifles should have a perk by default, like piercing rounds. That way it would compensate the low impact and slow fire rate and it would be attractive to use.

6 RespuestasPulse Rifles and high ammo magazine Auto Rifles are terrible in Destiny. They're just about the only guns I really hate using. Every Legendary-grade Pulse Rifle is severely outclassed by anything else, except for the bullet hose Auto Rifles like Silimar's Wrath and Unwilling Soul. Even the Exotic Pulse Rifles could use some more love. Bad Juju has a better magazine now, but it is still underpowered. Red Death has a more satisfying feel, but there's almost no reason to use it over something else - anything else. Pulse Rifles are just not compelling or competitive firearms.
