Do pulse rifles need a buff?
I never really see anyone using a pulse rifle, I like them personally, I just don't see a reason to use one over a hand cannon or scout, what do you guys think?
Edit 1: 256 people think pulse rifles need a buff, cmon bungie make it happen!

1 Respuestayeah, as much as i love pulse rifles, their impact just doesnt cut it. DPS wise they're garbage.

3 RespuestasNO. At least not in Crucible. The reason people don't use them more often is because they are longer range high damage weapons. Most people are not used to fighting this way and would prefer to go with shorter range weapons. I've used Super Pox and Bad Juju in Crucible. In some stages, like Rusted Lands, Super Pox seems almost OP. With reactive reload it can get two-burst kills with ease even against snipers on the other side of the map. Bad Juju cleans up in just about any shorter range engagement. I've seen people clean up with pulses like the Stranger's Rifle and Red Death too. The reason people think they are underpowered is because they are simply not used to using them. It takes patience and it takes more aiming skill, the way sniper rifles do. But in the right hands they are devastating. Imo they might be the most underrated weapon in the game. They don't need buffed.

Maybe a slight buff to ammo capacity or base damage but beside that I enjoy using "bad seed down" or "time on target" I'm PvP or PvE. But it would nice to see a SLIGHT buff or else other guns will get buffed and every gun become OP as hell. #pulseriflemasterrace

1 RespuestaMore ammo reserves would help. Dmg is fine and so is impact. It is just easier to hit high DPS (dmg per shot) with pistol or scout. By the time you get the same number of kills with the pulse ammo is low or out.

3 RespuestasIf Three Little Words was a human it would have a pretty bad back from carrying the other pulse rifles. Not even Suros Regime can stop that gun in Crucible

I just got the ar and pulse from crota. Why is the impact of pulse rifle lower than those of ar. It should be between scout and ar noynt lower

Yes. I got the new raid one last night and it's garbage. I won't be maxing it out.

I use Bad Juju all the time lately, but any other pulse rifle I have is only for Nightfalls (arc burn).

Yep. I haven't used any exotic pulse rifles but legendary and below all suck.

Yes they needed a buff since day one, that's why no one ever uses them. They need to throw them a perk that is bad ass and unique to pulse rifles.
