TL:DR / Too thick to understand the concept of the toothfairy:
We need a better system in place for the next DLC rather than paying outright to purchase exotics from scratch again / making our previous legendaries not able to be upgraded also. Something that doesn't just make everyone feel they have to restart everything they did previously and losing that awesome feeling from playing
What is with people thinking this happens in every mmorpg let alone thinking others never played one?
Basically the same stupid system where you have to send more money to purchase a new exotic if Xur sells it, and makes all legendaries obsolete.
Girlfriend who had every exotic ingame (She loves to hoard stuff) quit because of this, little brother did too. Now I don't really have many friends on 360 and will probably buy a XB1.
But if House of Devils has this Shit system (ESPECIALLY MAKING YOU PAY 7 / 11.5K PER AS WELL AS COINS/SHARD) I would just quit and give up. Had enough of friends quitting from first repetition without reward and then this.
One of the first to preorder and get Ghost edition + 3 limited editions for friends because I thought we'd be playing this game for so long. Turns out got cheesed off the edge by one game studio I really loved.
Saddest thing about Destiny are all these Tryhard trolls who have nothing better to do than beat their partners and abuse everyone for the sake of getting all warm and fuzzy. Bungie.net used to be really nice especially when a lot more moderators used to be here because we didn't have to deal with personal attacks and PMSing/afk leeching thralls
Just want to play the game and have fun with friends

Play it, its gonna do guaranteely, otherwise increasing the level cap would have no point at all, oh the dlc's out 1hr later: meeh, allready got max lvl and weps, im done
-
1 RespuestaLevel it up again, I don't play this game just to have the best of everything all the time, I play it because I enjoy playing it.

Keep doing what I've been doing. Bounties, daily, then shadows of mordor

Editado por The Inturned: 12/25/2014 3:08:56 PMIf the pre-DLC exotic guns and gear were obsolete, we wouldn't have the option to upgrade them to post-DLC stats. Legendaries are still as viable as ever. You can use pre-DLC weapons and gear to do the new raid and missions. Then you would get guns and gear as a reward and can start levelling those up. Nothing is obsolete, yet everything is when you decide to upgrade.
-
They could have made the upgrade so that the weapon needed to be maxed to upgrade it. Im sure there is problems in this, but it would have made it that your previous progress wasnt wasted if everyone had to do it. The change to not needing shards showed a serious lack of forethought.
-
Level up new gear.
-
I'll probably try and keep playing but, I've noticed that I've started playing less and less already. I understand that grinding is an important part of the game but I tend to get burnt out after a while.
-
I would upgrade my gear or replace it. It's not a big deal
-
I'm going to play the game and have fun doing it.
-
-
It will so why even ask if. Levels are purely based on gear. It will have to be ousted.

14 RespuestasJust a whole bunch of cry babies, that's all y'all are. You guys obviously never played these kind of games.

5 RespuestasJust get vanguard marks and commendations right now so you're ready lol

Editado por Fozwick: 12/25/2014 12:46:56 PMI care more about the original raid weapons becoming even more obsolete.
-
What fun is there in keeping old shit for so long? I get tired of seeing my toons look the same, this game isn't going to change anytime soon the cycle will be the same now through destiny 2 next year and beyond.
-
Ide fist of havoc on the -blam!-ing disc. This is what I couldn't stand about the DLC and apparently not to many people sympathised with me. The thing that really rustled my jimmies is the fact that obtaining exotics post DLC rewards you with the upgraded version of that particular exotic... Like wtf?
-
1 Respuestahonestly ive gotten used to the destiny mechanics i dont think id care to much
-
my only issue with this dlc was how all raid gear became obsolete, not in the sense that it wasnt the best anymore but the fact that the factions gear automatically trumps it now, so i grinded the VoG for months to get the raid gear i needed for both my warlocks (yes i have 2 warlocks and still took me months to get the gear i wanted) just to have people be able to buy gear better than it from vendors day of the release? yes ill still be playing, yes i love this game, but being a from day 1 player with hundreds of hours into the game, this made me butthurt.
-
Um continue with the game
-
I don't think it'll raise Lvl cap unless it's released near March. I remember seeing leaks of the dark below and house of wolves gear at the same time so I'm hoping they'll set it so there are multiple current top gear raids where the main benefit is against the raid faction. Current gear does this having specials vs hive enemies. I'd also like to see a 32 added VoG I've heard rumors on.
-
Not be Surprised.
-
"Beat their partners" guess we Know what OP does in his spare time.
-
I hope it does and I am sure it will.

1 RespuestaThere's an if? Buddy, expect to have everything you're working on atm get null'd when House of Wolves is released. It's better to be happily surprised.

10 RespuestasGrind new gear that's what a mmo is all about and if anyone told you different they lied to you
