Got mine from 1st crota chest before they changed it.

One of my fireteam members got it out of the exotic chest on VOG normal run last night. Unfortunately, he already had one.

I got the red death from Atheon in the Vault of Glass I dunno why, but everyone on my fire team was freaking out Yeah it's not super when you first get it but when you start to upgrade it it starts destroying people I'm not sure where to get it since mine was a boss drop

1 RespuestaIt's not rare; Xur sold it twice. It's just that not many people like using exotic primaries in PVE due to the lack of elemental damage. In PvP, well, it's not one of the preferred weapons, especially after the so-called "buff".

My very first exotic. Received it from a lvl 24 tiger strike way back in late September. It's a great weapon.

I got it from a chest first time doing VoG. Almost fully upgraded it, but other than how it looks I don't care for it. I don't like the sights primarily, but the rate of fire and small mag aren't very good.

I have to say that I got mine through shear luck. I was doing the Patrol Cosmodrome thing when I got a Legendary Engram. I figured it would turn in to a couple of shards, but the Cryptarch rewarded me with Red Death! :D

Got mine from normal VoG raid as a random checkpoint drop. If you like pulse rifles, it does pretty well (after some leveling). Pulse rifles in general take some getting used to, so there may be other exotics you find more useful.

2 RespuestasEditado por Swiftlock: 12/9/2014 5:40:29 AMThe Red Death took a hit after the nerf. The fact that its fire rate was increased DOES NOT make up for the damage reduction, imo. It's still great at taking out trash mobs (though, not many guns aren't...), but it has a tougher time chewing through tougher enemies, especially compared to other exotic primaries like the Suros Regime or Hawkmoon, which melt through bullet sponges. Bungie hates pulse rifles, apparently. (And yes, I have a maxed out Red Death.)
